chapter twenty two

The party was going well. Everyone was having fun and there was still a bunch of people. I sat outside under a tent that the guys put up. Justine, her boyfriend, Danielle, Vic, and Mike sat with me.
"Thank you so much for inviting us again. I was so glad I got to fly in for this.", Justine said. I smiled.
"No problem. I made sure they had you on that list. I'm so happy you guys got to fly in for this.", I said.
"That list must of been a huge list. There is a bunch of people here.", Tristan said. We laughed.
"We have our ways.", Danielle said.
"And the decoration is amazing. Like it's straight out of a magazine.", Justine added.
"I know. It's too good.", I said.
"That was all Jessica.", Danielle said. We looked and admired.
"Evelin, there's someone here for you.", Jessica yelled from across the yard.
"Oh. I'll be back.", I said. I got up and woddled myself to the back door where Jessica was at.
"Who is it?", I asked as I reached her.
"Someone by the name of Sarah.", she said. I smiled and walked in. I saw Sarah at the front door in a knee length white dress, a blue cardigan over it, blue high top converse, tight bun on her head, and winglet make up. Next to her was a boy in white pants, blue button up, and matching blue converse.
"Sarah.", I said. She looked over and gave me a big smile.
"Evelin. Oh my god you look so beautiful.", she said. I chuckled.
"Thank you. Goodness look at you. All dressed up. This should be daily.", I said as I hugged her. She chuckled.
"Aww hush. Thank you. This is Eric. Eric this is my friend Evelin.", she said.
"Well this is Eric. It's nice to finally meet you. I've heard good things about you.", I said. He smiled.
"It's great to finally meet you. Sarah and I are obsessed with you and that sounds so weird.", he said. I laughed.
"It's no biggie. I'm glad you guys made it. The food and people are in the back.", I said.
"You mean all the bands are out there?", she asked. I laughed.
"Well just Of Mice & Men, Pierce The Veil, and All Time Low.", I said. She looked at me.
"Well go on. Go meet your heroes.", I said. She smiled and gave me a hug. Eric followed too. She let go and stood there. I chuckled. "Hold on.", I said. I went to the back door and looked for the boys.
"Boys, come here quick.", I yelled. Soon all the boys were in the living room.
"What's going on?", Phil asked.
"Yeah. I was in the middle of flipping some stuff.", Jaime said.
"Guys. This is Sarah. Sarah, you must know who these guys are.", I said. She stood there speechless.
"Holy shit.", Eric whispered. We chuckled.
"You guys are my heroes.", Sarah said starting to cry. The guys all went to her and had a group hug. I quickly went for the camera and snapped a picture.
"Come let's all outside.", jack said. They all continued their hug and waddled out. Mike came up to me.
"I think she's fine.", he said. We looked out and saw Sarah laughing at Alex and Jack.
"You guys make her happy.", I said. He smiled.
"Mike, we need help setting two more tables.", Vic said as he stuck his head through the back door.
"On my way. Babe remember the emergency called incase something happens ok?", Mike said as he left me.
"Yes babe. I know.", I said. He have me a quick peck and went out.

It was now around 7 and I realized that we haven't played any games yet. I looked around the backyard to see if I could spot Jess. The crowd was bigger than I thought. I came to a corner and had no choice but to do the call.
"Let's see if it works.", I said to myself. I looked up and took a deep breath.
"GRULALALA!", I shouted the chewbaca call. No one paid attention. I listened to see if I heard someone yell out.
"GRULALALA!", I shouted again. I listened and heard to calls.
"Yes.", I whispered. I listened again and heard 4 more calls. I soon saw Jessica, Jaime, Vic, Mike, Tony, Danielle and Erin walking this way.
"Evelin, what's wrong? Are you hurt? Did your water break? Why are over here?", Mike said. My face went soft.
"No. I just wanted to find Jess so we could start the games.", I said softly. They groaned.
"Evelin. That call is for emergencies only. We were all worried.", Danielle said.
"We really did think something happened. I dropped a burger for this.", Jaime said.
"Oh I'm sorry. I just wanted to start the games already cause it was getting dark and my mom would have to leave soon and we wouldn't have done them with her here and this will be the only time I see her until the baby is born. You guys need to think that I am pregnant and I need my needs too.", I said as I started to cry. They got quiet.
"Evelin, don't cry. Come on. We'll do the games already.", Mike said as he hugged me.
"I'm sorry Evelin. I forgot your hormones are off the chain right now.", Jaime said. I wiped some tears.
"You're so pathetic Preciado.", I said as I slapped him playfully. We laughed. The guys went back to where they were and Jess stood up on a chair.
"Ok ladies. We are going to start the baby shower games. If you would like to play, please make your way to the living room.", she yelled. I laughed as I saw half the women go into the living room.
"Men are to stay out here while we play. Mike your on charge.", she continued.
"Got it!", Mike yelled. Jessica got down and we went into the living room. The ladies sat in a huge circle and Jess sat me at the head chair.
"Ok ladies. First game involves toilet paper. You will be measuring the tummy area with it. You must grab the amount you think is perfect around. Grab less you lose. Grab to much you also lose. It has to be exact.", Erin said. They all nodded. I chuckled. The roll of toilet paper went around the circle. Once everyone finished, one by one they came up and measured my tummy. Ones were too short and some were too long. Soon it was down to my mom and Erin.
"Oh. I got this Mrs. Torres. You're going down.", Erin said as she came up to me.
"Oh. I don't know about that.", my mom said. We laughed
"I got this. I got this.", Erin sang as she measured me.
"And... no match.", I said. She pouted.
"I don't got this. I don't got this.", she sang. We laughed. My mom stood up.
"Mom always got this.", she said. I smiled.
"Mom.. always.. right.", she said as she measured me and it went perfectly around. Cheers went around.
"Ok. Ok moms are always right. Go claim your prize Mrs. T.", Erin said. My mom went over to the tad and picked up a prize. She opened it up to some kitchen rags.
"Oh these will go great with the new kitchen.", she said. We chuckled.
