chapter twenty-one

I woke up the next morning completely covering Mike in embrace. I smiled and kissed him.

"You are such a crazy sleeper now.", he said as he reacted. I chuckled and unwrapped my arms from him.

"No. Don't go. I'm cold", he whined. I laughed and wrapped my arms around him again. I nuzzled my face into his neck.

"Better?", I asked.

"No.", he responed. I smiled and kissed him.

"How about now?", I said.

"So much.", he said. I laughed and kissed him again.

"So has Jessica texted you?", he asked.

"No. Not yet. I bet they're all doing so much right now. Putting up streamers and balloons, and making table centers.", I said.

"And Jaime and Tony wrapping each other in those streamers and Vic putting balloons in his shirts cause boobs.", Mike said. I laughed.

"Poor Jess. I hope she can handle those crazy boys.", I said. We laughed.

~~ At Home ~~

"Danielle, can you bring Evelin's mom the pack of diapers so she could do a diaper cake?", Jessica asked Danielle.

"On it.", Danielle said. Everyone was up and ready to turn the house into a baby infested celebration. Everyone's family arrived early that morning. Jess had them set all the tables and cover them in blue and yellow table covers. All the dads were in the back grilling steaks and burgers. In the kitchen, Jess had all the moms making rice, a green salad, pasta salad, chips and dip, and of course a dessert. A couple of cheesecakes and jello. Danielle and Erin were in the living room fixing up 30 center pieces. The boys were out blowing balloons and putting up streamers. Jess joined my mom.

"This is so grateful of you Jessica.", my mom said. Jess smiled.

"Its no problem Mrs.T. I love Evelin so much and I wanted to do this for her. She's done so much for us. This party is like a thank you.", Jess said.

"Well, she's going to love it.", my mom said.

"She better.", Jess said. They laughed.

"Hey Jess, You have to come see this.", Danielle said from the living room. Jessica gave my mom a quick hug and went to the living room.

"Whats going on...?", Jess stopped at the entrance of the hallway and looked out the back door. Jaime and Tony were covered in streamers and Vic had balloons in his shirt.

"Fucken mummy shit right here.", Jaime said as he finished wrapping Tony. Vic laughed.

"LOL I have big boobs..", Vic said.

"Jaime its on my mouth and its salty and kinda gross.", Tony said. Danielle and Erin giggled.

"These dumb fucks. Hey!", Jess said. The guys looked up. Vic gave her a kissy face and touched his balloon boobs. Jaime and Tony acted dead and rubbed on the door.

"Put that up and get to work!", Jessica shouted as she went to the back door. The guys ran away and went to work.

~~ Hotel ~~

I cuddled up closer to Mike. I laid across his chest as he laid on his back with an arm behind his neck. Its been a few mintues after 10 and still no text from Jess. Mike and I were not allow to text or phone anyone.

"Let's go out?", Mike asked. I looked at him.

"Can we?", I asked

"Why not? They probably won't text us till 3. We got 6 hours all to ourselves.", he said. I smiled.
"Ok. Let's go.", I said. He chuckled and gave me a quick peck before we got up. I got up and changed into stretchy skinny jeans and one of Mike's Dropdead tanks. Mike changed into matching jeans and shirt with his red vans. I walked over to my red vans and struggled to get them. As much as I went down or squat down, I could not get them. Mike laughed. I look over at him.
"Its not funny.", I said. He continued to laugh and then walked over to me.
"Sit down. I'll put them on for you.", he said in a chuckle.
"Fine.", I said as I walked over to the unmade bed. He came up to me and knelt down to put my shoes on.
"Aleast your feet aren't as swollen as you thought they would get.", he said.
"No but they hurt so much.", I said. He chuckled.
"I'll give you a foot massage after we come back.", he said.
"Can we use the jacuzzi too?",I asked.
"Of course. Anything for you.", he said. I smiled and kissed him.
"Ok. Let's go.", he said. I lifted myself off the bed and he took my hand and headed out.
