14. Long way back from hell

I was wearing my finest dress as I sat in the armchair waiting for the opera to start. I looked to my left and smiled at Klaus.

''You always surprise me, Niklaus.'I love operas.' 'I said smiling to Klaus. He smiled too.

''I know you quite well, Amy.'' he replied. Then he looked at Rebekah who was sitting on my right.

''Were is your date?'' Klaus asked as Rebekah looked at him annoyed.

''Something must have delay him. I'll go wait at the lobby.'' Rebekah said and left. I turned to Klaus.

''Don't be mean.'' I said.

''I'm not mean.'' he replied and I shook my head smirking when I sensed someone behind us. I turned slowly and saw the only person I wished to never see again.

I groaned in pain. Why is this happening to me? All my memories were flashing through my mind and I was in pain. They were so clear. I opened my eyes and I noticed I was tied up in a chair. My skin still hurt from the burns and I had a steak through my stomach. Why haven't the burns healed yet. I looked at the room. It was like an old hospital. I saw them in front of me a bed. And Klaus was on it. probably unconscious.

''Nik!'' I said and tried to break free from the chair.

''He can't hear you, darling.'' a familiar voice said. I then quickly turned and saw Genevieve.

''Genevieve...'' I said looking at her. She smirked. ''Why my burns don't heal? And please pull that steak out of me!'' I said.

''Well I slowed down your healing and the steak is staying so you wouldn't run away.'' she said and then walked over to Klaus.

''What did you do to him?'' I asked angry.

''I'm just going to help him. And you. I'm going to show what secrets your sister keeps.'' she said and then she cut Klaus' wound open. He started screaming in pain and I closed my eyes not wanting to see him in pain. Genevieve grabbed the knife from inside Klaus' body and pulled it out. Klaus calmed a little but he was still in pain.

''Why are you doing this?'' I asked.

''You never did anything to me. And the truth is, seeing you like this, I can’t help but pity you.'' Genevieve said to Klaus who looked at her annoyed.

''As for you...'' she said and turned to me.

''How did it felt to be left alone? You know Elijah abandoning you for a wolf. I pity you more than him.'' she said to me. Klaus was looking at me.

'' Then betray the others and stand with me.'' Klaus offered. genevieve pretended to think about it and then looked at him.

''Klaus Mikaelson offering me a deal? I'm flattered. But first we're going to talk about your sister.'' Genevieve said.

''If you harm her!'' I warned and she turned to me.

''Well wait to find out what she did to you two and then you'll be the one to harm her.'' Genevieve said.

'' Rebekah is of no concern to you. If you mean to harm her...''  Klaus threatened but Genevieve cut him off.

'' Ah, the protective brother. A shame that loyalty isn't reciprocated. But then, I'm no stranger to Rebekah's treachery. Something you and I have in common. Here.'' Genevieve said to him and gave him a bowl that contained a dark liquor. Klaus looked at it without moving.

'' Drink. I'm just trying to help you. Heal you. Get you to see the truth that's been right in front of you for almost a century.'' Genevieve said and Klaus started drinking it. Immediately he choked on it but Genevieve held his head back so he swallowed it. I fought to get free from that chair. I couldn't stand this.
