*3 weeks later*

Mackenzie's POV

It is officially Hayden and I's 2 month anniversary. We didn't break up, but we never resolved it. Sometimes I wonder if he even considers me his girlfriend anymore. We technically are dating, so I decided to get him something for our two months. Two months have gone by so fast. It's already December which means winter break is coming up! 

I can't wait just to be alone and eat chips. Hang out with Brynn as well. For the past 3 weeks Brynn and I have already gotten super close which is really nice. She also is in the same dance studio as me so we dance together a lot! Dance is almost coming to an end. We get 3 months off but we still have to stretch everyday and sometimes go into the studio to work. Basketball season is still going, it goes till the end of March. I've only gone to 2 of the boys games. To watch Hayden and Johnny. 

I still do voice lessons. I just don't go on a regular schedule. My mom said I might have to be done with singing lessons because it costs a lot of money to do it and my mom is just trying to pay Greg to keep living in this house. Greg already left us for a different family, I don't mind though because he was only my step dad and we didn't have a close bond. 

Maddie has come home. I haven't had a conversation with her though. Anytime I try to talk to her, she puts in her earbuds and says "shut up, you ruined my life" which results in me going up to my room and crying. Maddie definitely isn't in the right mental state. I found 3 bottles of vodka in her room and 1 bottle of fireball. She isn't the good girl anymore. She is starting to hang out with some bad guys who have abused some women and they are drug dealers. I just wish she would realize how messed up she is. I want her to get help, I've tried to talk to her but she just slams her door shut and locks it. 

Maddie hasn't always been the 'good girl' though. 2 years ago, she was drinking and smoking. She had to go to rehab and was kicked off the dance team. When she came back from rehab, she met Jack Kelly. Jack changed her for the good though, Jack was her everything. They are literally the best couple ever. My mom thanked Jack for changing Maddie. Jack is pretty much family. I am to thank for that. I did actually set the two up. 

Enough about Maddie, I can't stress too much I already have school to think about. I have to find Hayden a gift. I decide to quickly head to target and get some candies. I get skittles for him. While I'm going in the aisles I keep seeing people looking at me. Probably because I look like a fucking mess. Whatever, just fucking get the candy. All of it looks so tempting but I can't eat, well I can but I don't want to. Actually I really do want to but I need to lose this weight and working out doesn't do enough.

I check out and I'm now in a rush I quickly unlock my car and hop in because it's pretty cold in the winter. I'm freezing. I keep looking at the skittles. God, I want it so bad. But I can't, You're too fat. 

I get a text from Johnny 

JohnnyO: Hey Mckenzis, I probably can't sit by you and Brynn today. Nadia needs me for something important. Sorry :(

I don't reply because I'm driving but I quickly glance down and read it. Ugh fuck Nadia. But at the same time it is her boyfriend so like I guess. 

I get to school and find Brynn.

"BRYNN!" I yell getting her attention. Once she notices me, she hugs me like there's no tomorrow.

"Brynn, I can't breathe" I laugh as she squeezes me.

"Mackenzie, did you get those candies for me?" she says laughing while pointing at the skittles.

"No, I got them for Hayden"
