Johnny's POV

*this is right after Mackenzie ran out of the house*

She ran.

"Mackenzie wait" I called for her, she kept running. I went to get her but Annie held me back by grabbing my wrist.

"Johnny, she's not worth it." She attempts to convince me. 

"Yes she is." I grab her hand from my wrist and run downstairs, As I run a whiny voice calls from behind me.

"Johnny!" 

I turn around to see Nadia. I groan.

"Nadia I got to go." I tell her. I keep walking.

"Wait" she comes up to me. "You're really leaving me for Mackenzie?" She annoyingly asks me. 

"Yes, the only reason I dated you was to get her back. Remember?" 

"Johnny." she wraps her hands around my neck seductively. I gulp "We both know we want each other" she kisses me. I kiss back until I realize this is the opposite of what I want. 

"Stop" I push Nadia off of me. "This" I gesture between us "Is over."

"Hey" Hayden slurs. "I got out of that closet you locked me in. Jokes on you, losers" he says still being drunk.

"Hayden you need to go back now" Nadia takes his arm aggressively. I follow them up the stairs and see Brynn leaving. Weird. Because of Hayden interrupting us, I let Mackenzie slip out of my mind.

Worst. Mistake. Ever.

Brynn's POV

I feel bloody awful for saying things to Mackenzie. I lied. I did really care for her, I just was jealous how Johnny fell for her. I'm so dumb.

I saw Mackenzie storm out with a drink poured all over her. I need to go apologize, she needs a sincere apology. I fucking suck, I helped make that dumb instagram account where we told people about Johnny's parents divorce. It didn't have a huge affect on people but I still did that.

I made a girl's life more hell than it already is.

I exit the house seeing Johnny's eyes lay on me. I'm not sure if I really like him anymore. He watches me exit, I just pretend that I don't notice him staring at me.

I go to my car and pull out. I take my time to Mackenzie's house. It's still light outside, she wasn't even here for an hour before she stormed out.

I get to her house and see only her bedroom door light was on. Now I know she's in her room and is definitely here.

I get out of the car and take the keys out of the ignition. I walk up to the front steps and knock on the door. As I knock, the door opens from being pushed. She must've not closed it all the way.

"Hello?" I yell throughout the house. It's like I'm in some sort of spooky movie, I'm shistar spooked.

"Mackenzie?" I question, slowly walking up the stairs. It's official, I am in a scary movie. 

I get up to her door and knock. "It's Brynn. Don't worry." I warn her, I don't want to scare her.

"Hello?" I knock again. "Mackenzie, please let me in" She doesn't answer. Two can play that game, I'm just going in.

I walk in and see the scariest thing I've ever seen in my life. I saw a body bleeding out with pills scattered on the floor.

"MACKENZIE!" I scream. I immediately kneel on the floor and grab her and shake her.
