What's the correct way to act when you're probably about to get beaten up?
(Y/N) decided to completely ignore it. Instead, she just gave Izuku a small wave and a "Hey" before grabbing Bakugou's wrist and forcing it off her. Brief surprise lit in his eyes, quickly replaced by sullen anger. "I should have fucking known that you had something to do with this, Deku."
Raising an eyebrow, the (h/c)-haired girl took the opportunity to brush past him and greet her friend properly. This seemed to break whatever spell the rest of the class was under, and before long she'd made the aquaintance of Tenya Iida ("Dude, do you always do that thing with your hands? You look like you're chopping an invisible onion." was apparently not a great way to start the conversation) and Ochako Uraraka (Who basically radiated sunshine at all times, and she took an immediate liking to.)
And then an enormous caterpillar came through the door and introduced himself as Aizawa, their homeroom teacher, and before she really registered what was going on her class was standing outside. Ah, the perks of spacing out.

After briefly explaining that they would be performing a quirk apprehension test, Aizawa looked over to (Y/N)'s absolute favourite classmate.
"Bakugou, how far could you throw a ball in middle school?"
"67 metres." Internally, she grinned. I got 68, you dumbass. Wait, am I really comparing everything we do now? Get a grip, (Y/N)..
"Now try it using your quirk." the girl's jaw involuntarily dropped as Bakugou stomped into the circle and hurled the ball so far that she nearly got whiplash trying to watch it, screaming "DIE!" like a maniac.
705.2 was his new score, and from the reactions, the whole class was as shocked as she was.
Quickly getting control of herself, the girl reverted to a neutral expression as Aizawa glared at the group of students and told them that whoever came last would now be expelled.
Just when I thought that the exploding bastard was the worst thing that could happen to me today.
Her and Izuku glanced at each other with worried expressions. It was definitely going to be a long afternoon.

In the 50 meter dash, she was paired up against Iida, which didn't worry her.. until she saw the fact that he had literal engines on his legs. As they waited on the starting line, the girl shuffled her feet awkwardly, eventually blurting something out just to break the tension.
"Uhh.. sorry about the onion thing. I say weird shit when I'm nervous. I also want to apologise for nearly causing a fight..?"
In a feat of bad timing, the signal went to start, and all thoughts of apology fled. Panicking, (Y/N) quickly grew a vine from her palm and hurled it at the finish line, embedding it in the ground and pulling her body along after it.
Staggering, she brushed (h/c) strands out of her eyes, only to see Iida standing in front of her. Of course he finished first, what did you expect. He's got a damn speed quirk.
To her absolute surprise, though, he held out his hand for her to shake. "Apology accepted! Besides, you were not trying to start conflict! Bakugou is fairly insufferable."
(Y/N) couldn't help it; she took his hand and burst out laughing. Maybe she would make some good first impressions today after all.

Next, there was a grip strength test. Producing thick strands of bindweed from her palm, the girl was able to get a fairly strong 315, causing her to grin.
