This dream was a train wreck...

My parents told us we were going on a vacation to a hotel somewhere in New York.
Before the vacation, me and my brother were watching E3 on the bed in my room. I don't remember anything about what we saw except that fortnite was getting a port to the ps vita. I was very confused as to why they would do that (the ps vita sold poorly in America). Nonetheless, I was pretty excited.

After that, we went on our vacation to a hotel in a very northern area of America and there we were to split up (me and my mom would be together and my brother and dad would be together) off to do activities for fun.
Me and my mom went to see a movie and my brother and dad went to do this game-like attraction that was essentially a real-life videogame: it took place in a tower where each story of it was like a level where you were to avoid people with laser guns. They said to play the game the whole way through would take 12 hours.

Meanwhile, mom and I watched the movie (I don't know what it was about) which took about 6 hours, and went to join dad and my brother in the game. By then they were almost to the top floor, so we were transported there. However, they had all "died" in game so I was the only one who could win the game for them.
I had no weapons on me, so I was left to avoid all the enemies on my way to find the elevator to the next floor.
The elevators in this game weren't like normal elevators: they were sets of seats with a small fence blocking them that moved to the next floor automatically every ~30 seconds. So you had to catch them on time or else you would have to continue dodging attacks.
One laser hits you, and you lose the game. I found my way to the elevator but many enemies were hot on my trail. They arrived the the room with me and the elevator and started firing their lasers.
The elevator just took off to the next floor as I jumped onto it, but since I wasn't in it fully I had to jump off and continue dodging their lasers. Finally the elevator began its trip to the next floor, so I hopped on and made it to the end.

After that, we went into the hotel. Now it was night. Inside it seemed pretty cozy. In the lobby there were large windows and there was a TV mounted on the wall talking about the various upgrades to the window that had been made over time in response to the harsh winter winds.
They specifically mentioned a blizzard that occurred on February 21, 1922 and showed footage of it. Despite the footage being so old, it was in full color and superb quality.
It showed the winds pushing huge quantities of snow against the window, finally breaking them and flying towards the wall.

After that, we started walking to our hotel room. As we walked, I saw a very old lady crying "I don't have much time left.." she looked to be in her late 90's and was covered in dust. She was in a dark room and the blinds on the windows were shut. The room was full of boxes and furniture piled up several feet high.

After that, I abruptly woke up. I was disturbed.

A month after this dream occurred, my great grandma died.
