Your POV 

I was laying in a huge pile of rubble on the floor. The giant demon loomed above me, his fiery eyes boor into my soul. He looked out over what had once been my favorite place in the whole world. Then the frost giants began walking around, looking for him. I knew they wanted Loki, and they were gonna destroy all of the world to find him. With the little strength i had in me, i stood up. The demon glared at me and lifted me by my now flaming pink hair. 

" You can not save him without me. So tell me where the daughter is!" His voice boomed. I felt the gold course through my eyes as i shot the water at his face. 

" You save him first. Then i give you what you want." I said and my voiced echoed. I heard Steve yell at me to stop but i looked at him and smiled. " It's okay Stevie. For once i'll be the hero, and then the world will be fine." I yelled back. tony tried to stand but the demon sent one of his minions towards him. Tony was pined to the ground and the demon began killing of the giants around him. 

i woke up with ragged and heavy breath. Loki was holding my shoulder and his lips moved but i couldn't hear him. All i could hear was my ears ringing. Finally it subsided and i heard his calming voice. 

" My love, it was just a dream. I am right here." He said petting back my hair. I buried my face into his chest and felt hot tears travel down my face. My body felt like fire and he was so cold.he continued petting my head. 

" Your okay." I sighed out. I could still remember the face of the Frost giants as they searched for him, the evil look of murder looming in them. Loki pulled back and looked into my face. 

" Darling, of course i am okay and i am not going anywhere. Everything is okay, i would never let anyone hurt you." He cooed and then kissed my forehead. I gulped back my tears and hugged him. 

" I'm not worried about myself, Loki, i'm worried about you." I whispered and could feel his heavy chuckle.I smiled into his chest, even though my head pounded with pain. 

"Worrying about me is pointless, i am very capable of taking care of myself. Now, you on the other hand we need to take to see Dr. Banner for you are a million degrees." Loki said running his hand over my face. I felt the sweat forming on my forehead. I nodded, unable to defend myself with the fuzzy feeling taking over my body. Loki picked me up gently and carried me down the stairs to the living area. No one was awake yet, seeing as how it was only 5 am, so Loki set me down on the couch. i groaned in pain, my head pounding like it has never before, my stomach churned and before i could warn him... i vomited directly onto him. His eyes widened with... well honestly i can't tell you if it was disgust, sympathy, or just fear. He ran away before i could apologize. He came back, still covered in vomit, with the trash can and a cup of tea. I took the trash can but refused the tea. He excused himself and cleaned the throw up off of him, and returned in a new shirt. I was still vomiting in the trash can when finally Nat stumbled out of the Elevator with Clint and Bruce. Each one looked almost as bad as me, then Bruce saw me and dashed right to my side. 

" What the hell y/n, you look like shit. Why didn't you come get me!?" He questioned, already pulling out the emergency medical kit. I smiled softly and gave a shrug, cause talking burned like acid in my throat. Nat and Clint both ran to get everyone else. Soon, both Bruce and Tony were trying to figure out why i was so sick. They couldn't come to any idea, and then Thor took my hand while Nat dabbed water onto m forehead. I could see the way my skin turned a blue-er color and, judging by the way everyone was starring at my eyes, my eyes were starting to become gold. 

" It doesn't make any sense! Y/n's healing abilities make her immune system stronger then even Thor's, the only record we have of her being this sick is once as a baby and once at 15." Tony grumbled looking over the tests once again. I went to speak but felt a massive pain run through my legs, so i just let out a huge scream. Loki was right next to Thor within seconds. He sat on his knees and cupped my cheek with his hand. His cool skin refreshed me slightly. 

" Brother, didn't you study universal medicine? and didn't you have that one book, the one were the Selkie turns human in the ocean once she reached a level of maturity?" Thor asked his eyes darting from me to Loki and back. Loki nodded slowly. 

" Selkie? Like the seal skin thing from Norse?" I asked, then my stomach churned again and vomited. Nat wiped away the vomit on my lips while both Thor and Loki nodded. 

" well almost... that's what are on Earth but Asgard used to have a neighboring planet full of Selkies. They were beautiful men and women who lived in water with gills and flamboyant tails. They are a peaceful species, but when hungry they lure in other creatures with the salt stained throats of husky singing. They came to be when during the first war, people would be thrown of ships and horses with chains around their legs so the water helped them and gave them a tail. But, Thor, you forget they went extinct years ago." Loki said calmly running his hand through my hair. 

" Stop touching her like that." Tony's voice said angrily and Loki did not look up. i began coughing and Clint handed me the cup of water which i drank far too quickly. 

" Yes, but Loki remember the healers with their golden pupils. And once again the story, when she fell to the bottom as a human once again and came up so mature she was the queen? it simply fits y/n's situation too much." Thor said, his grip on my hand tightening. Loki looked up into his eyes and sighed. 

" We should talk without y/n about this." He said looking down at me. I smiled weakly and nodded. Everyone left, except Bucky who insisted he needed to stay and make sure i didn't get worse. 

" You'll be okay, doll. Everything is gonna be okay." He said. I smiled then the pain in my legs came back and a new pain in my neck as well. I jolted and screamed. 

Loki's POV 

I heard her scream and my body tensed. then Thor placed a hand on my shoulder. 

" Why couldn't we speak in front of her?" He asked the worry lacing his eyes. My heart broke as i remembered the last time i read the story of the Selkies. 

" It's not a nothing transformation. If she really is a Selkie like we believe... she is going to be in a lot of pain for a while, then she will go back to her merform for she is usually in her human form. Once she returns back to human form she will need to sleep, and the next day she will be a younger version of herself. You never know the age, she could only be 21 or she could be 3, but she will be that age without any of her knowledge of what happens after that age. It is twenty-four hours of her being like that and then she will be back to normal, but usually with a slight difference in appearance that relates to the age she transformed into. It's a painful process and well if she had any bad years and she goes to that we are in trouble." I said with a shaky voice. The process was to kill off Selkies that were unworthy and mature worthy ones. Everyone looked at me with shock. I sighed and closed my eyes. 

" well i guess we should prepare and probably just make sure she is okay." Captain Rodgers said with an equally shaky breath. We stood slowly and headed over to her. I spent the day at her side, using the excuse that i knew more about the problem to make sure they didn't get mad at me. It was a long and rough day, but i knew that tomorrow would be the hardest. So i tucked her into bed and kissed her head, then went to go to my own room. 

" You aren't gonna stay?" She asked, so quietly it stung. I turned and looked into her e/c eyes with the golden pupils and smiled as softly as possible. we hadn't told her what would happen tomorrow. i walked back over and kissed her softly. 

" I think it is best you stay alone tonight, my love. I have a feeling you will wake up feeling odd tomorrow." I said and kissed her again. She smiled at me and nodded. 

" If that's how you feel. hopefully you are wrong though. I love you." she said with a yawn. Poseidon curled up next to her and i smiled. 

" I love you, more." i whispered as i walked out into the living area of her floor. I took a deep breath and walked all the way to my room. Tomorrow would be my own hell, especially if it is a child y/n.

wow this story actually has plot? i know right! Kinda crazy but i really enjoy making very light hearted cause there is gonna be messed up shit in future chapter lmao.
