The Storyline

Chapter 6

Lena quickly found Madison and she didn't look to pleased. She slowly approached her almost treading on water on what to ask her. Before she could ask anything, Madison snapped at her.

"What the actual hell Lena! You get put in a storyline with Roman. You know the man you have wanted for five years! And what do you do?!? YOU FUCKING RUN AWAY FROM HIM AS SOON AS HE TRYS TO TALK TO YOU ABOUT IT!!"

"Okay. Okay. Calm down, everyone is staring at us."

"I DONT CARE. I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF TELLING JOE THE NEWS WHEN ROMAN CAME RUNNING IN AND BARGING ME WITH QUESTIONS ABOUT YOU AND IF ANYTHING WAS WRONG WITH YOU TODAY!!" Madison was now screaming at her best friend starting to catch the attention of surrounding staff and superstars.

"Can we please talk about this somewhere else? I really don't need more of my business being put out to these people." Lena pleaded to her friend.

"Fine. But you better explain what the hell happened and why you ran away from Roman." Madison replied after realizing that people were beginning to look at the pair of friends like they were crazy.

The two went back to the girls locker room before having to go to glam squad for touch ups. Lena could tell her best friend wasn't really upset about the whole Roman incident, there was something else that was making her act this way.

"So are you gonna tell me the real reason why you just ripped a new one on me out there in front of everybody or are you gonna make me guess?" Lena questioned her friend wanting to the know the real reason behind her previous behavior five minutes ago.

"I...uh...I told Joe." Madison sighed. "Andddd? What did he say?" Lena asked wanting to know more.

"He didn't say anything at first just like Roman said he would. Then he started yelling and got angry. He told me that I should have been more careful. That this was going to ruin his career. Then he left and I haven't seen him since." Madison said while trying to hold back her tears from falling again.

Lena quickly when and wrapped her arms around her bestie and just held her. "Shhh. Just let it all out. It's okay. Just let the tears out." Lena tried comforting her but on the inside she could feel her anger rising up to a boil. How dare he yell at her best friend and blame her for this. Last time she checked, it took two to tango. Right now her friend needed her but later tonight she was going to find Joe and give him a piece of her mind. Madison soon stopped crying and thanked her friend for comforting her.

"I'm sorry for going off on you earlier but you still need to explain what happened with Roman. He was really concerned about you." Madison expressed to her friend. The last sentence putting a smile on Lenas face. Even though Roman didn't know her well, he was still concerned for her well being. Her smiled soon faded. She needed to stop. She had to remember that he was married and had kids with her. She couldn't have him, she needed to stop thinking of him as hers. She also needed to remember she had to deal the with the Finn mess she caused earlier and her late night booty call partner.

"I don't know what happened. It was all just so fast. We both got told the news and then Mark kicked us out so he could take a call. The next thing I knew I was running away from Roman before I had a panic attack." Lena responded.

"Okay so where did you run to?" Lena was contemplating on whether or not to tell her best friend about the Finn incident but decided not to. She had enough to already deal with. Besides her and Finn was a only a one time thing. "I..uh ran to catering. You know me, whenever I'm stressed food is my go to." Lena joked hoping it would make her friend less curious to ask more questions.

"Well I think you should go find Roman and explain to him that you're alright. You should also probably talk about your guys match tonight also. I mean after all you too are closing out the show."

" I will but first I want to make sure you're okay. Will you be good until your segment tonight? Do you want me to go beat up Joe for you? Cause I will, I'll beat the living shit out of him."

"I'll be fine and no I don't want you to beat up Joe. I just want to get my segment over with and go back to the hotel. Speaking of, do you mind if I crash with you tonight? I really don't feel like dealing with him for the rest of the night."

"No of course I don't mind. I miss having my old room buddy with me anyways. It brings me back to our good old NXT days. But I should probably go find Roman and get this talk over with. I love you and will see you later tonight." Lena waved goodbye to her friend and was on her way to find to go find the Samoan god and new storyline partner for tonight. She was not ready for what was going to happen and most definitely wasn't ready to see him again.
