Chapter 17

The next morning Roman woke to the unusual feeling of a warm body next to him. He turned on his side and saw Lena peacefully sleeping. All the memories of last night came flooding in and he couldn't help but smile. Last night had been the first time in four months that he had been with another woman and not just any woman. Lena had always captured the eye of the Samoan. Even when she was back down in NXT, he had heard about this talented woman who was brutal and intense in the ring and gave amazing matches. He went down to a taping one day and watched the show from the back. That night Lena was in the main event with Peyton Royce defending her NXT Women's Title. The match was intense and both ladies poured their hearts and souls into it. By the end of the match Roman was hooked and mesmerized by Lena's in-ring capabilities and passion. So when Lena got called up to the main roster, Roman to say the least, was pissed when she was casted aside like every NXT talent that got called up. He watched her matches when she was given the opportunity and she always made them worth watching. After all the admiring from afar, Roman never once in her five years on the main roster talked to her. Well at least up until now.

Roman was still watching Lena as she began to wake up. She had opened her eyes and was met with his chocolate brown eyes on her. She carefully turned on her side, still being wary-of her bruises from RAW and faced Roman. She smiled thinking back to last night and the events that had unfolded. She brought her hand up to his face and began softly stroking the side of it. The feeling of his beard tickled her wrist and caused her to chuckle. The two stayed in this position for what seemed like forever, just admiring one another and not wanting it to end. Unfortunately it came to a sudden end when Romans's daughter burst through the bedroom door. Lena quickly grabbed the sheet to cover herself up and attempted to hide herself.

"Roman, sweetie you weren't answering the door so I just used the key to come in. I don't know if you got the text this morning but Galina needed me to drop off the kids earlier and.... Oh my gosh. I'm sorry." Romans's mom said as she walked in the room with the twin boys. She quickly stopped talking and covered the boys eyes when she saw Lena in bed and Roman struggling to get his shorts on.

"Jojo, how about we go downstairs sweetie and wait for your dad to better dressed." She said to his daughter while mouthing sorry to her son for intruding on him and Lena.

"Welp that was one way of you meeting my kids." Roman joked while awkwardly rubbing the back of his neck.

Lena stayed silent and was still hidden under the sheets to embarrassed to come out. Roman made his way back to bed and crawled next to her, slowly moving the sheet down so he could see her face. Lena was red as a tomato and turned away from Roman.

"That was so embarrassing. I must have scared them for life and oh my god, your mother saw me basically naked." Lena mumbled out. "Why the hell are you laughing? This isn't funny. Okay, your mom and your kids just saw another woman who isn't their mother in bed with their dad." Lena asked Roman slightly annoyed with the fact that he was laughing about the whole situation.

"It's kinda funny." He laughed but soon turning serious when he was saw Lena's face full of embarrassment. "Look at me." He said pulling her face towards him so he could see her. "Yes, the way my kids and mom met you wasn't ideal but you have nothing to be worried about. Jojo knows that I care for her mother deeply but she also knows that me and her mother are going to be seeing other people and that those people will hopefully make us happy." Roman stated trying to calm the nerves of Lena.

"Okay but did you see your moms face when she saw me? She looked like she was going to have a heart attack."

"She just was probably surprised to see that I actually had a woman over since the divorce. She always kept bugging me about putting myself out there and I never did." Roman replied. He pulled Lena closer to him and placed a kisses on her forehead, then on her nose and finally on her lips. The kiss was deepening when Lena suddenly pulled away.

"Wait so let me get this straight. I'm the first woman you've been with since the divorce?" She asked amused that the Big Dog hadn't been getting with the ladies after his divorce.

After Roman and Lena had gotten dressed and made their way downstairs, Lena quickly remembered she had a flight in two hours and needed to leave for the airport. Roman went to go grab her one bag she had brought inside, while she sat uncomfortably on the bar stool in the kitchen with Jojo and his mom watching her.

"So did you and my daddy have sex last night?" The 11 year old girl asked out of the blue. The question took both lena and his mom by surprise and made Lena spit out the coffee she was drinking.

"Ummm.. well umm. Me and your daddy..." lena stuttered while struggling to answer the child without saying anything that would make her ask more questions.

"Cause my mommy told me when two people are in bed together without any clothes that usually means they have sex." Jojo said abruptly.

"Well looks like me and your mother need to have a talk soon." Roman chimed in as he made his way into the kitchen sitting next to Lena. He took her hands in his and began rubbing circles on her palm with his thumb trying to relax her.

"Mom, Jojo, this is Lena. Lena this is my mom and you've already met Jojo." Roman said introducing the women to each other. "Lena is a friend from work. She wrestles just like me." Roman stated, more directly towards his daughter.

Lena smiled and waved at the two women across from her. She didn't know what to say and was embarrassed to look at his mom in the eyes. Her alarm went off in her phone and she got up and told Roman it was time for her to leave. She said her goodbyes to Jojo and his mom and walked towards the front door. Roman quickly followed behind and walked with her to her car. She opened her door and turned to face Roman. She went to say something but was cut off from the attachment of his lips on hers. She kissed back and slowly pulled away resting her forehead on his.

"Don't worry about my mom and Jojo. I'll talk to them and further explain." Roman said knowing that Lena was still on edge from earlier. "Call me when your flight lands. We sorta need to talk about last night." He said with a grin. He kissed her one last time and waved goodbye while she drove off.

He went inside back into the kitchen and was met with his mother. "You mister have some explaining to do." She said with her hands on her hips. Roman knew the rest of the morning was going to be just peachy and began telling his mom the story of how last night came to be.
