Chapter 41

"I'm pregnant." Was all that was said in the last 20 minutes. After Lena had muttered out those words the room came to a silence. Lena was happy that she had a tiny person growing inside of her and that it was made up of her and Roman. But the timing of the pregnancy was just at the most inconvenient time. Also she was afraid of how Roman was going to react after she told him. That's if she even decided to tell him. Paige spoke up deciding to break the ice.

"Soo does this mean I'm gonna be the cool Aunt? Cause if so, I gotta so many cute ideas for your baby shower."

Lena just chuckled at the woman. Of course Paige would already be talking about baby shower planning.

"Paige what am I supposed to do? He's going to be back in two days and this news is gonna hit him like a train."

"Just tell him the truth. Don't dance around it. The quicker you two are on the same page the better it will be for you guys to start preparing for your little one."

Lena smiled at the words "little one" and placed her hand on her stomach gently rubbing it. She couldn't believe she was actually pregnant with Roman's child.

"You know what you're right Paige. The quicker we are on the same Paige the quicker we can start preparing. Thank you so much for being here. I don't know what I would do without you." She thanked Paige and hugged her.

"Hey it's no problem love. I'll always be here for you. Now when do we start baby shower planning cause I have a ton of ideas?"

The two enjoyed the rest of their night watching cheesy chick flicks and eating takeout. Paige went back to her house with her dogs and boyfriend. While Lena went up to her bed debating on whether or not to call Roman. It was early morning in London and he was probably waking up but she decided against it. As she was getting into bed her phone rang and it showed Roman's face. She let her phone ring not declining the call cause then Roman would know she didn't want to answer it. She put her phone on silent and went to bed.

SKIP TO FRIDAY MORNING

It had been two days since Lena had found out she was pregnant and she had been ignoring Roman's calls since. He was going to be home today and she was trying to mentally prepare what she was going to say to him. Lena was rolling around on her bed when she suddenly felt a heavy arm around her. She turned around and saw Roman passed out. She was surprised to say the least. He said he wasn't arriving till noon and it 8 am. She kissed his lips trying to wake him up but he wasn't stirring. She then began leaving bite marks on his neck and Roman's eyes shot open. He grinned at seeing Lena all cuddled up next to him.

"Well good morning sleeping beauty. When did you get here?" Lena asked while stroking his face.

"I got here around 5:30ish. I used the key under your mat and came in bed lay down with you." He responded kissing the inside of her wrist. "How have you been? You haven't been answering my calls the past two days I was beginning to worry."

"Oh I've just been busy with Paige helping her redecorate her house and stuff. I meant to calk you back I just forgot too." She said lying straight through her teeth.

The two stayed in bed for about 40 more minutes until they decided to get up and go get some breakfast. Lena made her way to her bathroom and saw her tests still on the counter. She quickly grabbed them and hid them underneath the sink. She wanted to wait until tonight to tell Roman the news. She hoped having a nice dinner would help ease the news to him. After getting dressed the two headed out to Lena's favorite cafe spot. It was by the beach which gave them a nice view of the ocean and they served the best pancakes lena ever tasted. The two enjoyed their meal and occasionally fans mostly kids would ask Roman for a picture. Lena wasn't annoyed at all by the kids asking for pictures. The way that Roman's face lightened up when he was with any child made her heart melt. It made her feel a little better about telling him the news. After breakfast the two ran a few errands and made their way back home. They relaxed in the living room watching movies until about 4 pm when Lena got up to start dinner. She was cooking dinner when suddenly she felt large arms wrap around her waist. Roman nuzzled his face into the crook of her neck and left a kiss on her cheek.

"Something smells good. What you cooking?" He asked.

"Oh nothing to fancy just some shrimp tacos. Here taste." She said putting a shrimp in his mouth.

"Delicious. But I rather have something else for dinner." Roman said beginning to nibble on her neck.

Lena let out a small moan but pulled quickly away from him. "Easy big boy. You can have dessert later tonight. I gotta finish cooking dinner or else you're gonna be very cranky without your food." She said poking his stomach.

"Hey I don't get cranky without food."

"Really cause you almost tore off Joes head when he said dinner wasn't going to be till 8 last time."

"Okay you got me there but as soon as I finish dinner I'm taking my dessert with me to the bedroom and I'm gonna devour it." He said in a whisper by her ear making her shiver from his warm breath and dirty talk.

Roman left the kitchen leaving lena to finish cooking but not without slapping her ass first. She just looked at him and he gave her his cocky grin back. Dinner was finally done and the two sat down and began eating. They finally finished dinner and cleaned up. As lena was putting up the last dish Roman picked her up and threw her over his shoulder. She screamed with laughter as be brought her to her room. He tossed her on the bed and began kissing her. He was making his way down her neck when she pushed him off.

"Hey what's wrong did I hurt your stomach?"

"No I'm just not in the mood tonight Roman." She lied to him. She needed to tell him about the baby and him kissing her was distracting her.

"What do you mean not in the mood? You literally were a moaning mess before dinner so what changed?" He asked not buying her bullshit.

"I'm just not in the mood Roman. ITS PERFECTLY FINE NOT WANTING TO HAVE SEX WITH YOU EVERY-TIME I SEE YOU. IM JUST NOT IN THE DAMN MOOD SO WILL YOU PLEASE DROP IT?" She said as her voice was getting louder in an annoyed tone.

"NO NEED FOR YOU TO GET SNAPPY WITH ME. I JUST WANTED TO KNOW WHAT WAS UP WITH YOUR CRANKY ASS BUT YOU ARE JUST ACTING LIKE A COMPLETE BITCH."

"OH SO IM A BITCH NOW AM I?! WELL HERES SOME NEWS ASSHOLE. THE REASON WHY IM SO CRANKY AS YOU WOULD SAY IS BECAUSE IM FUCKING PREGNANT. WITH YOUR CHILD I MIGHT SAY AND I KNOW FOR SURE BECAUSE I TOOK 5 DAMN TESTS ON WEDNESDAY AND THEY ALL SAID POSITIVE!" Lena yelled at Roman and she left the room heated.

Roman just sat on the bed in shock hearing the news she just said to him. He snapped out of it when he heard the door slam. He quickly ran to the driveway only to see Lena pull out and drive off leaving him with all sorts of emotions such as guilt, anxious but mostly happiness that he was going to have another child.
