The Storyline

Chapter 39

It was early in the morning and still dark outside. Lena was cuddled up with Roman when she heard crying coming from the kids room. She looked over at her clock and it read 4:30 am. She groaned and tried waking Roman.

"Roman. Roman. Ugh nevermind." She got up and put on bottoms left the room.

She entered the rooms with the kids in it and saw Julian being fussy. Jojo was starting to wake up.

"Hey. Hey. Just close your eyes sweetie. Go back to sleep." Lena rubbed Jojo's back putting her back to sleep.

She made her way to Julian and he started getting louder. She picked him and began bouncing up and down rubbing his back.

"Shhhh. Shhhh. It's all right buddy. I'm here now." She cooed to him in a quiet voice not wanting Grayson to wake up also. Julian quickly fell back asleep and had his head nuzzled in the crook of her neck. She went to go put him back on the bed but he started to stir.

"Shit" she whispered to herself. He wasn't going to let her put him down. Then Grayson started to stir in his sleep. Lena couldn't possibly pick up both boys. By then Grayson was full on crying. His crying woke up Julian and he joined his brother in the crying fest.

"Oh fuck it." Lena said to herself and picked up Grayson with Julian still in her arms. She managed to grab their blankets and made her way to the front door with the boys. She grabbed romans keys and the diaper bag and left the apartment. She put the boys in their carseats and gave them each their pacifiers and blankets. She started the car and drove off. Her mom used to drive around her brothers whenever they couldn't go back to sleep. She thought she was crazy but here she was now driving around trying to put the boys back to sleep. It was 6 am and lena was still driving around Orlando. She looked in the back mirror and saw that Grayson had fallen and asleep and Julian was wide awake smiling at her.
"You mister aren't going to sleep anytime soon are you?" She asked with a baby voice. Julian just giggled and threw up his hands in the air playing with his toys on his carseat. "Might as well get some coffee while I'm out." She sighed and drove to the nearest Starbucks.

Roman had woken up and felt an absence in the bed. He looked over his shoulder and saw Lena's side of the bed empty. He checked his phone and the time was 7:30. He got up and decided to go check up on the kids and look for Lena. He made his way in to the kids room and only saw Jojo. He started to panic not knowing where his sons where. He ran into the living room seeing Finn on the couch with Joe.

"Hey big guy. What's wrong you look like you just lost something important." Finn asked Roman.

"The boys... they aren't.. in the room... and I don't know... where they are." Roman responded with a voice filled with panic.

"Hey. Hey calm down. Lena probably has them in the backyard or something." Joes said trying to calm down the Samoan. Right after Joe said that the front door opened and Lena walked in with both boys in her arms and the diaper bag barely hanging on her shoulder while holding her coffee in one hand. She looked exhausted and like she was ready to pass out. Roman ran up to her and took both boys from her arms and kissed their heads. Lena threw down the diaper bag and put her coffee down. She basically threw herself on the couch and laid her head on Finn's shoulder.

"What happened to you? You look like you haven't gotten any sleep." Joe said chuckling at the woman's current state.

"The boys woke up at like 4:30 and they couldn't fall back asleep. So I drove around town with them trying to put them back to sleep. I didn't want their crying waking anyone up. My mom used to drive my brothers around at night when they couldn't go to sleep so I thought I would try it. But that one over there wouldn't go back to sleep so I got coffee and headed back home." Lena said pointing to Julian who was giggling in Romans arm.

"Oh now you're concerned with noise not waking anyone up. That would have been nice if you were like that last night. Yeah I heard the whole entire thing. It sounded like Roman was killing you with all the times you screamed out his name." Finn said pretending to be annoyed.

Roman chuckled and went to apologize. Lena had passed out on Finn's solider and the men turned their heads to the snoring woman. Roman felt bad that Lena got up early to deal with his kids. He put both of the boys down on the floor and they crawled around. He picked up Lena and brought her to her bed. He came back and saw Joe and Finn on the floor playing with the boys. Finn had Julian and Joe had Grayson. The two men where moving the kids bodies making the two play fight each other.

"Oh here comes Julian with an wicked right hand. Look at Grayson block that right hand. Graysons got the upper hand. He looks like he is ready for his finisher. OH AND JULIAN HAD BEEN HIT WITH A POWERFUL SPEAR. GRAYSON COVERS HIM AND JULIAN IS DOWN FOR THE COUNT. 1.2.3 RING RING. YOUR WINNER GRAYSOONNN REIGNNNSSS." Joe yelled as he picked up Grayson and raised him up high. The boy was laughing his adorable laugh. Roman just stood afar and chuckled.

"You two better not break my boys." He said with a laugh. "I have to go stop by Jon and Trinitys house to go pick up a few things. Can I trust you guys to watch my boys while I'm out for like 20 minutes." He asked the guys.

"Yes. We are gonna be just fine aren't we buddy. We gotta get that rematch from your brother don't we?" Finn said playing with Julians hands.

"Hey I'm serious Finn. Can I trust you two with my boys?"

"Yes you can Roman now go and get your stuff." Joe said shooing Roman off. Roman took one last at the boys and left. He really hoped that his boys would be fine with the childish men.
