The Storyline

Chapter 11

**FLASH FORWARD TO MAIN EVENT**

Ruby's and Lenas match had been going on for about 15 minutes. Both athletes were very dominant when it came to in ring skills. They played well off of each other. Lena had been dominating in the match for the past 5 minutes. She currently had Ruby in a tight choke hold. In about 2 minutes Barons music was going to play and Lena had to act confused as to whats going on. As Ruby already is supposed to know that Baron is out to help Ruby by causing a distraction.

Two minutes later Barons music rings throughout the arena and the crowd gets loud confused as to why he's coming out.

"What in gods name is Corbin doing out here?" Exclaimed Michale Cole.

"Does it really matter Cole? His music seems to have caused a distraction and has given Ruby the upper hand now." Corey yelled in his normal dickish voice.

After Corbin came out the music gave Ruby the distraction she needed to gain the upper hand over Lena. Corbin was supposed to just stand at the end of the ramp watching the match but instead he went off script confusing both girls but they didn't show any concern not wanting to break character. Lena had quickly countered Rubys kick and it gave her some time to regain her energy. Ruby was struggling to get up from the counter and Lena looked around to trying to spot Corbin. He was nowhere to be seen and when she turned to face Ruby, she was greeted with a kick to the side of the face. She stumbled and rolled out of the ring. Ruby soon followed and Lena went to go run the other way to get back into the ring from the other side. She was stopped in her tracks when her body collided with a tall figure. She looked up from the ground and saw Corbin grinning down on her with his devilish smile. He went to go grab her by her hair but she moved quickly and kicked him in the back of his legs harshly. He fell down and screamed in pain.

"YOU BITCH. YOURE GONNA PAY FOR THAT!" He spat at Lena as he got up and grabbed her by her hair and tossed her into the steel steps. Ruby just stood their in shock as the referee rang the bell due to outside interference. Ruby had no idea what was going on but quickly got back into character and pushed Corbin aside to drag Lena by her hair into the ring. She began throwing punches at Lena and at the same time asking her what the hell was going on in a quiet voice.

"What the hell is Baron doing?" *punch* "Are you okay?" *punch*

Ruby continued to attack Lena until she was pulled off by Corbin and his eyes were filled with anger. He told Ruby to stop and he picked Lena up by her hair. She struggled to stand up let alone fight off Baron. She wasn't prepared for this and was wondering where the hell Roman was at. Corbin held Lena by her hair to keep her from falling down. He then told Ruby to kick her in the face while he held her. Ruby looked at the man like he had grown a third eye. Lena was in no state of taking another kick to the face. She had blood coming from her busted lip and Ruby could see the bruises forming on her stomach from the steel steps she was tossed into. Ruby didn't know what to do. She looked at Lena and Lena nodded her head and mouthed "it's okay" to her. Lena knew Ruby was conflicted on what to do, she knew that her body couldn't handle one more kick but she hoped Roman would come out soon like he was supposed and stop Ruby from kicking her. Ruby took a deep breath and was getting ready to kick her one last time but all of sudden Romans music roared through the arena. The crowed was filling up with cheers, not for him but because someone came out to stop the torture that Lena was being put through. Ruby quickly rolled out of the ring and went up the ramp hoping her team mate was okay. Corbin let go of her hair and tossed her across the ring. He was trying to get into a stance to fight off Roman but was to slow. As Corbin turned around his face was met with a Super Man Punch. Corbin quickly fell to the ground in shock. Roman then pounced on him beating the crap out of him not caring if he busted him open.

Roman was running late getting to Gorilla. So when he finally arrived he was met with officials flipping out because Corbin had gone off script and was putting his hands on Lena. Roman then quickly came out and was ready to beat the crap out of Corbin.

Officials and referees had come out to pull the two men apart. The show had ended 10 minutes ago and Roman had still not let up on Corbin. The two were eventually pulled apart and Roman quickly realized that Lena had made it out of the ring but was lying on the floor to sore to move. Medical Staff had gone to her aid to see she how she was doing.

"Okay Lena, I need your eyes to follow the light." The trainer said as he moved the flashlight in front of her eyes. Lena couldn't keep her eyes open. After Roman came out Corbin tossed her so hard that she hit her head pretty hard on the floor. She was starting to feel dizzy and tired. She was struggling to stay awake. The medical staff called for a stretcher but Roman came to their side in a matter of seconds. His heart broke seeing Lena in so much pain. He quickly picked her up bride-style and carried her to the back. As he was making his way to the back all he wanted was to make sure Corbin payed for this. Nothing angered Roman more than men who put their hands on women. Even though he just got to know Lena that day, seeing her broke like this made him want to protect her at all costs and thats what he planned on doing whether she liked it or not.
