The Storyline

Chapter 12

Roman had brought Lena straight to medical after the whole incident happened in the main event. Hunter and Vince were waiting in medical to see how much damage had been caused to Lena. Vince was more there worried about how the storyline might be affected rather than how Lena was doing. Hunter was there because Lena had been one of his NXT kids. He hated the fact that she was being wasted on the main roster. She knew how talented she was and ever since being called up officials only thought of her as decent.
As soon as Lena was brought into medical Roman immediately went towards to the two bosses of the company asking what the hell Corbin was thinking out there and where he was.

"Roman you need to calm down. Okay we are handling Corbin. Right now we need to focus on Lena." Hunter pleaded to the Samoan trying to keep him from doing something stupid.

"WHERE IS SHE. I NEED TO KNOW IF SHES OKAY!" Yelled Finn as he ran in,desperately looking for his best friend. Sasha and Bayley soon followed behind worried about their friends current state. Medical staff tried calming down Finn, telling him that she was fine and was being checked out right now. Finn didn't care, he was shoving people deeply worried about his friend. He knew the moment Corbin went off script that night, that Lena was in trouble. Finn was well aware of Corbins temper especially towards his ex.

"I'm fine Finn. You can calm down. Your playboy act is starting to disappear." Lena murmured barely. Her body was sore as hell but there she stood still cracking jokes towards her best friend. Finn ran up to her and gently hugged her, afraid of causing more damage to her frail state. He pulled away and examined her body. She had a busted lip, a slight black eye and was wrapped up with bandages all over stomach. If these injuries were from a normal match Finn would have told her she looked like crap but they weren't from a normal match. They were from Corbin who thought it would okay to abuse his ex-girlfriend just because he was given the opportunity too be in a storyline with her.

"I'm going to kill him. I don't care who hears me. He should have never gotten that close to you to begin with." Finn basically spat his words out with much anger.

"Finn, you know we cant let you do that. Like we told Roman we are handling Corbin." Chimed in Hunter.

"Trust me I don't like it either but right now Lena is all that matters." Roman stated as he joined in on the conversation.

All the men were so deep in conversation with each talking about how to deal with Corbin, that no one realized Lena left medical to go to her locker room. Roman was the first one to notice the missing superstar.

"Hey. Where did Angelina go?" Asked the big dog.

"She went to the locker room." Answered Bayley. The hugger saw Lena dip from the group earlier and asked her if she was okay and where she was going. Lena told her that she just wanted to go back to her hotel room and sleep. Bayley offered to give her a ride back to hotel and Lena gladly accepted. Lena told her to wait here while she got her bags.

Roman and Finn were ready to head her way when Bayley and Sasha stopped them in their tracks. Both men were confused as to why the ladies stopped them.

"Right now all Lena wants is to go and get some rest. So you two rushing to her overwhelming her with questions isn't the best idea." Sasha stated. "We promise we will take care of her. Now you two go get your stuff and promise me you guys wont don't anything stupid if you see Corbin." Bayley pleaded with the men, knowing how angry they both were.

Both men agreed to go back to the hotel and give Lena her space. The two walked their separate ways to get their luggage. While the girls went to their rental car to meet with an exhausted Lena. The car ride to the to hotel was dead silent to say the least. Both girls were afraid of saying the wrong thing and upsetting Lena. They had finally arrived and coincidentally so did Roman. All three girls got out of the car and grabbed their bags. Lena thanked the two for her ride and made her way to her room. Out of the corner of her eye she saw Roman coming closer to her with his luggage. The last thing she wanted right now was to see Roman. She was embarrassed and upset that tonight had not gone as planned. Which probably meant both of their careers are going to be effected, more so Romans than hers. Lena as quickly as she could hustled her way to the elevator in hopes of avoiding him. She felt her tears forming and the pain in her stomach was excruciating. Just as Roman was getting closer to her, the elevator door shut. The last thing Roman saw before the doors closed was the one tear fall down Lenas face and her body starting to cave in to the pain.

She had finally made it to her room and looked for her best friend. She then realized that her friend probably had fixed things with her husband and was back in their room doing god knows what. She was actually glad Madison wasn't there to see her friends broken body and busted face. She knew Madison would have flipped out and go on murder spree trying to find Corbin. Lena went to her bedroom and grabbed her oversized tee and new pair of underwear. She gently took off the sweats and tee sasha loaned her after coming back from medical. She wanted to get in the shower but her body was telling her to just go to bed. She had put on her underwear and looked at herself in the bathroom mirror. She hated what she saw. Her body looked like it had been hit by a car. Her stomach was all bandage up and some bruising was showing. Her lip had swelled up and had two stitches in it. She looked like half a panda with her one half black eye. She hated that even though her and Corbin broke up he still had the power to make her seem weak. She gradually put on her shirt and was about to get in bed when she heard a knock on her door.

"Great. Who could this be? I just want to sleep." Lena groaned to herself.

She opened the door and to her surprise there was a person she least expected to be there, standing in front of her.

"Hey Seth. What can I help you with?" She questioned the man. She was hoping he wasn't expecting any funny business to happen tonight. I mean he had eyes, so he could tell that her body wasn't up for it. Then again this is Seth she was talking about.

Seth didn't say anything he just pulled her in gently for a hug and rubbed her back softly. The action took her by surprise at first but gave in to the hug quickly. She didn't realize how much she needed this until it happened. Seth pulled away and said he was spending the night. Lena went to tell him no but he put a finger up to her mouth and said "I'm not spending the night as your sex buddy. Im spending the night as your friend who knows all you need right now is to be held and comforted."

Seth kept surprising her with his actions tonight and she was starting to like this side of him. She looked at seth and grabbed his hand and pulled him inside. The two got in bed and she gently laid her body in his arms and fell asleep as soon as her eyes closed. Seth looked down at the girls sleeping face and smiled. He didn't know what was happening to him but he didn't mind it. He was enjoying the nice person he was becoming all thanks to the girl in his arms. He soon fell asleep, but what neither superstars realized was that Roman was on his way to check up on Lena and saw the two from afar, leaving after he saw Seth get pulled into the room with a look of disappointment on his face.
