The Storyline

Chapter 42

Lena pulled out of the drive way pissed as shit. She wasn't pissed at Roman, she was pissed with herself. She was pissed that she went off on Roman and told him in the most unconventional ways. She was so upset she decided to call Madison. Right now she needed to talk to her friend. She was at a red light and picked up her phone and dialed Madison. She put her on speaker as soon as the light turned green.

"Hey lena whats up." Madison asked with a groggy voice. It sounded like Lena had woken her up.

"I'm sorry if I woke you up. I can call you tomorrow." Lena said with muffled sobs in between.

"Hey hey. No I'm fine. Tell me what's wrong?"

"I'm..pregnant...and I went..off on Roman...and told him while yelling at him." She said while full on crying. At the same time it started raining out of no where.

"Wait pregnant? As in you have a baby with Roman growing inside you?" Madison asked making sure she heard her best friend right.

"Yeah. I meant to call you earlier about it but I forgot too and now everything is a mess. I don't know what to do Madison. I'm literally out driving around and now it's raining."

"You need to calm down Lena okay. Everything is going to be fine. Just go back home and go apologize to Roman."

"Shit" Lena yelled out as her phone fell by her foot when she turned.

"What's wrong?" Madison asked with concern.

"Nothing it's just, my phone dropped and now its sliding around by my feet. Now only if I could just reach..." Lena said while trying to steer the wheel and pick up her phone at the same time.

All Madison could hear next was the loud sound of something crashing and a scream come from Lena's mouth. The rain had picked up and as Lena bent down to pick up her phone a truck slid across the road hitting Lenas car with full force and making it flip over into a ditch.

"LENA! LENA ARE YOU THERE? WHATS GOING ON?" Madison was screaming into the phone begging for a response from her best friend.

She heard nothing back from her but the sound of rain and then a few minutes later the sound of ambulances. Lena was upside down in her car and she instantly felt a major headache. She went to go touch her head and winced. She brought her hand down to see blood covering her fingers. She was starting to lose consciousness and the last thing she heard before she passed out was the sound of an ambulance.

AMBULANCE RIDE TO HOSPITAL.

Lena was hooked up to many things in the ambulance and the EMT's were doing everything in their power to keep her heartbeat going. After the ambulance arrived Lena was pulled from her car and she had a big gash in her head and some glass from the windows had stabbed into the side of her stomach. They loaded her up in the ambulance and she was bleeding heavily out of the side of her stomach. One EMT held pressure on the wound while the other was trying to resuscitate her. Her heartbeat kept going in and out.

"I NEED YOU TO STEP ON IT! WE ARE LOSING HER!" The EMT yelled as Lena's heartbeat went out again.

"IM TRYING MY BEST. ITS RAINING LIKE CATS AND DOGS. LAST THING WE NEED IS AN ACCIDENT!" The driver shouted back.

"You stay with me okay. I'm not letting you die today." The EMT said into Lena's ear as he kept giving her compressions.

While all this was going on Roman sat at home getting super worried why Lena hadn't answered his phone calls or why she wasn't home yet. All of sudden his phone rang and he quickly jumped up to see if it was Lena but it was Madison. He picked up the phone and the words Madison spoke next made him drop his phone.

"Roman, it's Lena. I think she was in a car accident."
