The Storyline

Chapter 64

After Madison made the phone call she went back to area where the girls and Lena were. When she arrived the girls were no where in sight and Hunter was leaving the room where Lena was at. She walked into the room and saw the girls carefully packing up Lena's dress while Lena was casually drinking a bottle of alcohol in just her underwear and bra.

"So are we just going to let her drink the whole damn bottle of whiskey?" Madison asked quietly to the girls.

"Well I'm not going to tell her to stop. I mean after all her supposed husband just ran off with his best friend and I'm like 99 percent sure they are on the honeymoon that was meant for Lena and drew. So if you want to be the one to tell her to stop drinking by all means go ahead." Paige said keeping her voice low to Madison.

All the girls just looked towards Lena and she was a mess. Lena looked back at the girls and gave them a "can I help you" look and took another swig of alcohol.

The girls just looked away and turned back facing each other unaware of what they should do next. There was a sudden knock on the door and Bayley said she would get it. She opened the door and she was shocked to see Finn standing there seeing how he wasn't at the wedding in the first place. He stepped in and walked into the room. The girls saw him and Madison said for everyone to leave so he could talk to Lena. As the girls were leaving Madison stopped by Finn and whispered into his ear.

"Thanks for coming, she's a mess right now and I really don't know what to say to her. You're the one who knew that this would happen so maybe you can talk to her about it."
Finn nodded his head and Madison squeezed his arm as a thank you before leaving the room.

Finn turned his head towards Lena and just sighed taking in her appearance. She still had the bottle of alcohol in her hand and she still wasn't dressed. She however was now sitting down just staring outside from the window. He brought one of the bridesmaids robes and put it around her as he sat next to her. She turned her head towards him now just noticing that he was there.

"You know...you were right. I should have believed you but nooo instead I was stubborn and look where that got me." Lena laughed out clearly drunk. "I'm sitting in my underwear in front of you drunk as hell and my fiancé left me at the alter for his best friend. Talk about plot twist of the year. Seth's surprise heel turn on the shield ain't shit compared to what happened to me today." Lena chuckled to herself about how creative her last sentence was and took another drink. She went for another but nothing came out. She looked at they now empty bottle and wined in disappointment. She began shaking it like it would it help magically refill it.

"Okay love that's not going to help refill it at all. " Finn said while taking the empty bottle from her. " I'm not going to lie, you should have listened to me but you don't need to hear that right now. Right now I'm going to tell you that first of all Drew is stupid as hell and I'm going to enjoy kicking his ass when he comes back to raw. I'm also going to tell you that whatever you need right now I'm right here ready to do it. So tell me love what is that you need me to do?"

Lena looked at him with a serious face and said in the most serious voice "All I need right now is for you to get me some damn food. Then I want you to take me somewhere away from here. Looking at this place makes me want to break something."

"Okay. I'll go get you food and then we'll leave." Was all he said and got up to go find her some food. He didn't ask her any more questions or anything he simply obliged knowing that she wasn't in the mood for anymore crap.

As soon as Finn left Lena went through her suitcases that were packed for her honeymoon after the wedding and threw on the most comfortable thing. She looked at herself in a mirror and let out a disgruntled laugh. She looked like crap with her baggy sweat pants and tank top on with her wedding hair still done and her makeup smeared all over her face. She rolled her eyes at her appearance and made her way to the cart of alcohol in the room. She picked up a smaller bottle and chucked the lid across the room and took a big swig of the bottle.

After Finn came back with the food he loaded up his car with her bags and Lena stumbled her way into his car. She got in the passenger seat and he closed the door for her. The girls stood outside watching her get in the car. Finn went up to them to tell them that he would take care of her.

"So. What are you going to do with her? I mean after all you're staying at my house and Roman's there and I highly doubt she's in any condition to see him tonight." Sasha asked while she looked at Lena giggling to herself in the car.

"Well she wants to go back home and sleep in her own bed. The only thing is that home for her is Drew's house. So I think I'm just gonna take her there and spend the night there in case she tries to do anything stupid. Oh and as for Roman, he left this morning to Pensacola. Him and Lena had a falling out on Thursday and I guess he's done. Although I'm pretty sure he would be interested to here what happened today but we can save that for later. I better get going before she pukes in my rental. I'll...uh text you when we get to her house." He said as he made his way to the drivers seat of his car. He waved goodbye and got into the car and drove off.

After Finn drove off the girls went back inside to help deal with all the damage that was left over and went to be with their men. All except Paige went inside, she pulled her phone out and dialed Romans number. She waited and after four rings someone finally picked up the phone.

"Hello. Daddy's phone how can I help you?" Someone who sounded like a child asked.

"Hi sweetie this is Paige. I'm a friend of your daddy's from work. Can you please put him on the phone love?" She asked in a nice manner.

"Okay. Hold on a second." Jojo said and in the background Paige could hear her yell "Daddy a girl named Paige from work is on the phone asking for you." There was shuffling and mumbling going on in the background and finally Roman got the phone.

"Hello? Paige? What's going on?" He asked.

"It's about Lena, I think there's some information you might like to know." Was all that she said before she got into more detail over the events that had occurred today.
