The Storyline

Chapter 56

After leaving with her dress Nikki and Lena left to go check her venue one final time until Saturday. While Nikki and Lena were checking out her venue, all the way in California sat Roman with Finn at the arena for RAW and roman was trying to come up with a plan to stop Lena's wedding.

"Okay just here me out. All I'm saying is no normal person gets in engaged after two months of dating then gets married three months after being engaged. That's why you need to help stop this thing. Lena needs time to think things through." Roman said stating his case to Finn.

After the night Roman had comforted Lena about her going back to NXT, Roman went to talk to Finn. He knew that Finn was the only other person who knew Lena well other than Madison. For the past three months Roman had been trying to convince finn to help him stop Lena's wedding and help win her back. Finn however would not comply. He understood that Roman missed her and wanted her back and quite frankly Finn felt that Roman was the person for Lena. However lena was his best friend and if she was happy with Drew then he wasn't going to ruin that for her no matter how badly he wanted to help Roman.

"Okay but what is normal is having a baby with someone you had started dating with not even for three weeks. You need to get it through your skull that Lena is getting married wether you like it or not. Oh and you should probably remember that you are invited because Lena thinks of you as a friend, so you better fix your attitude before Saturday cause she's expecting a supportive friend who is happy for her. Not some lovesick puppy who can't get over her. " Finn snapped back annoyed with Roman bugging him again. Finn instantly regretted what he said when he saw romans face drop when he mentioned the baby. "Look man I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said that." Finn apologized.

"It's fine. You know what I think I'm gonna just head back to catering maybe see if Seth is around. I'll see you around, maybe." Roman said with an upset voice and left before Finn could say anything back. Any time someone mentioned the baby around Roman he would get upset.

"FUCK!" Finn yelled kicking a chair in the locker room.

"Woah. Woah. What's going on dude? What did that trash can ever do to you?" Sami asked while walking into the locker room.

"Nothing. I just...I snapped on Roman and said something about the baby and upset him. I uh need to go find him and apologize." Finn said calming himself down as he left the locker room in search of Roman.

Finn had been walking around for a while in search of Roman and remembered that Roman said he was going to catering. He made his way to catering but stopped when he saw Drew talking to someone and the two were awfully close. Finn moved to a corner nearby so he could hide and eavesdrop on Drew's conversation.

"Look you are my best friend okay. I'm glad that you felt comfortable enough to tell me how you are feeling but I love Lena. Okay, so you confessing your feelings to me are confusing me. I feel like I might feel the same but that's a big if compared to my 100% certainty of my feelings toward Lena. So I'm telling you, you either are going to continue to be my best friend and support my wedding this Saturday or don't show up at all. I don't want to lose you as my best friend okay. You have been in my life for so long and maybe in another world we would have been together but this isn't another world. This is real life and in real life I'm going to marry Lena this Saturday." Drew said. He turned his body slightly and Finn got a view of who he was talking too. He saw Indigo and something inside of Finn made him desperately want to call them out but he didn't. He stayed quiet so he could hear the rest of the conversation.

"I..uh I'm going to need some time. I just need to think about everything but Drew, I just want you to know I love you. I always have and always will." Indigo said and gave him a kiss on the side of lips but close to his cheek and walked away.

Drew let out a sigh of frustration and kicked a crate nearby. The kicking of the crate caught Finn by surprise and made him yelp by accident and he quickly ran off not wanting to get caught. He had new information and he knew exactly what he needed to do with it. He ran to catering and found the person who he was looking for. He sat down to the person grabbing their attention.

"Okay so we have exactly five days to get this wedding called off and we are gonna have to come up with a serious plan that won't end up hurting Lena too much. Cause either way this ends up with her being hurt just a little." Finn said quietly to Roman.

After what Finn just witnessed he no lingered cared about if Lena was happy with Drew. Right now all he cared about was protecting Lena from world full of hurt. Roman smiled at the sudden change of heart in Finn and the two started devising their plan. Meanwhile back in Orlando Lena sat happily with the girls at a restaurant talking about how Madison planned a crazy bachelorette party. Lena knew that week was going to be eventful and crazy but what she didn't know was that it was going to get eventful and crazy in a bad way.
