The Storyline

Chapter 9

In the middle of giving up to find Roman she found the other Samoan also named Joe. She promised Madison she wouldn't hit him but she never said anything about yelling at him. She quickly strode over to the Samoan and harshly tapped his shoulder making him turn around with an angry face ready to yell at whoever just touched him. Quickly after turning around his angry face dropped seeing that it was his wife's best friend. He almost was sure of what Lena was there for. She was probably there to kick his ass for his actions earlier. Lena warned Joe the moment he got with Madison, that if he ever hurt her she would basically end his life. To say the least, Joe actually believed her. He had seen her matches in NXT. She was a tough and brutal wrestler and her threat towards him actually made the man scared for once in his life but he would never tell her that.

"WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR PROBLEM JOE?! HUH? MADISON WAS SCARED TO TELL YOU AND I TOLD HER YOU WOULDN'T SAY ANYTHING STUPID. BUT YET YOU DID AND MADE ME LOOK LIKE A LIAR TO HER! LAST TIME I CHECKED IT TOOK TWO PEOPLE TO TANGO. SO THIS IS JUST AS MUCH ON YOU AS IT IS ON HER." Lena screamed at the man, not caring who saw or heard.

"I KNOW OKAY! I... I know. I fucked up. I was scared, we never talked about kids and we both are at the top of our careers right now. That still doesn't excuse my actions. I just... I don't know what to do Lena. I'm terrified but I'm also excited."

The Samoan was a mess and Lena was surprised. She had never seen him off his game, well except on his wedding day but even then he still wasn't this much of a train wreck. She understood where he was coming from but he still needed to fix things with her friend.

"I understand Joe but you need to go apologize to Madison. She's a mess and right now she needs to know that you are just as scared as her."

"I know. I need to find her but I have a match in 15 minutes. Do you know where she will be?" He asked Lena with desperation in his voice.

"Well looks like she just finished her segment." Angelina replied pointing the nearby tv showing Madison waving goodbye to the crowd.

"She needs some time right now alone but she's gonna go back to my hotel room. So after your segment go there and talk things out."

"Thank you Lena. I swear I don't know what we would do without you." He chuckled.

"You guys would probably fall apart." Lena laughed.

"Oh and by the way. I like the new gear or should I say your old indy gear. It suits you much better but you might want to go get those covered up." Joe stated, pointing to her fresh hickies from Finn.

She completely forgot about the whole Finn situation. She needed to get the love marks covered up quickly and find Finn. The night was becoming too stressful for Lena. She felt herself becoming panicky but she needed to calm down and get everything situated. Tonight was going to be a big deal for her and her career. She had to make sure it went well not only for her but also Roman. His job was in her hands too. If she did well so did he but if she did awful then Romans career could go downhill.

"Right. So I'm gonna go cover these up and finish getting situated for tonight. Good luck with your match and with Madison."

Angelina waved off her friend and had to go cover these marks quickly and then find Finn. Tonight had become a game of Marco Polo for her. She kept losing people she was looking for and kept bumping into people she didn't need to see. All she knew was that whatever happened tonight, her career and life would never be the same afterwards.
