"GIRL, SHUUUTTT UPPPP!"

I'd forgotten how high-pitched Soojin's voice was, until today. But then again, I was pretty sure the booze was partly to be blamed.

On the wee hours of a Sunday night, Soojin and I finally managed to catch up over beer, after countless rescheduling. Back-to-back rehearsals had taken up much of my time, but that was expected, given the fact I was assimilating back into the musical routine. Soojin likewise was occupied by her work, dipping her feet into international waters with several designing projects offshore.

"Any louder, and you'll be waking my neighbors Jin," I warned as I gave my best shot of a dead-serious face.

Her shrieking, or the alcohol, was also starting to make me a little light-headed.

Soojin erupted into a fit of giggle. "How am I supposed to keep it down when you've just told me about sleeping with Hyungsik??? Oh my god, I need all the details. NOW!"

I laughed as my head leaned against the side of the bed. "I don't recall asking you to spill the beans when you and Joon first--"

Soojin was impatient as she lifted her arms, "I welcomed questions but hey, there wasn't any. You should have asked me back then, and I would have willingly obliged... Now quit changing the topic, my friend!"

Despite the gradual dizziness, if I was actually going to spill the beans, it was best to cool myself with another drink. Walking up to the refrigerator, I stole a glance at Soojin, "Care for another beer?"

Rolling her eyes dramatically, she pleaded, "You know what I care about, Moon Hyeyeon. I want nothing but the truth, young lady."

"Okay, okay," I laughed, waving my white flag as I grabbed another can of beer from the refrigerator. As I crossed my legs Indian-styled on the floor, I feel myself letting go, the alcohol fueling my inner fearlessness as I smirked. "What do you want to know?"

Folding her arms together, the lustful look on Soojin's face was pure gold. "How was it?"

Her three simple words posed a lethal question, and within seconds, my idle mind began venturing on an endless visual memory of that night. It was amazing to think that the beat of my heart would not stop racing, even at this moment, just with the recollection of two bodies becoming one.

"Your face says a lot, my friend. He was good, wasn't he?"

As expected, Soojin's eyes were glued at my every move. Her smile was sly and conceited, her mind probably just as perverted.

"No," I corrected her as I took another gulp of the cool fluid, "I don't think 'good' is the right word for it, Jin... He was..."

With her mouth wide open, Soojin was close to salivating.

Pursing my lips together, I smiled as the perfect adjective came to mind. "He was... stunning."

The very word effected a concurrent squeal from Soojin and myself, increasing the decibel of our shrieks. At this point, I would not be surprised if my immediate neighbors went on to file their complaints.

"Damn! Was he even human?"

Although my head was spinning, the exhilaration of our chatter kept me going. Biting my lips blissfully and bashfully, I gushed, "He was every inch beautiful, Jin. I mean, if somebody asked me this question twelve years ago, I would probably go 'yuck'! But it's incredible how manly he's become, Jin. He was very tender when he needed to be, and well, very rough when he needed to be... He led me to places that I've only read of and imagined."
