Author's Note:
Thanks for making it this far! I hope you are liking the story (or at least curious with the story progression of our leads). I'm still green in fiction writing, so I hope you'll not hold it against me in parts where I am lacking! This may be a little disappointing for some, that the first person narrative of this fanfic happens to be Hyeyeon and not Hyungsik (especially for the fans of Hyungsik – where you at?). But I've decided to get a little creative, and at certain parts of the story, I shall offer a section called "Hyungsik's Narrative", so that we get to see what his thoughts are too! I'm having a lot of fun writing this, but I'm also very driven and encouraged to write when you leave me a comment. Don't be shy to leave your comments and vote / like (click on the star)!😊

(Ghost The Musical audition: Seoul Musical Theatre)
Taking a deep breath, I shook both my hands as a gesture of shifting away the nervousness. I looked to my left and my right repeatedly, countless faces popping up before me. There were many who came for the auditions, and many of them looked fearless and seem to know each other, supposedly from past auditions.
Instead of being swept away by the distractions within my radius, I decided to plug my earphone to my phone and tune out to Molly's solo, With You. Goosebumps never failed to evade me whenever this song played. Shutting my eyes, I drowned myself in Molly's longing for her lover, Sam. The classic love story, has Molly and Sam separated by Sam's sudden death. Yet in his death, he cared for Molly more than anything else in this world, even as a ghost.
"Moon Hyeyeon-sshi! Stand by, please," a staff called out my name not long after, my shut eyes slammed open.
I stood up instinctively to calm my nerves, "Inhale... exhale... let's not forget how to breathe now, Hyeyeon."
Tailing the staff on the way to the main theatre hall, I did my routine voice warm-ups. "Ma ma ma ma ma ma ma ma... ACK!" I groaned loudly when a teenage girl came out of nowhere and knocked me hard against my left shoulder. I took a step back, trying to figure out what was happening and just how a person could run away without any apology.
As it turned out, there were many more young school girls heading towards my direction. It was hard not to notice them, with their screaming and shrieking all at the same time. This was a common sight in Seoul, and it made me wonder which celebrity this was. I took a glance towards the object of their adoration, who was making an entrance into the compound.
The man – tall and lanky – was clad in black jumper and grey sweatpants, his face well hidden beneath a baseball cap and an oversized pair of sunglasses. I would not have recognized the man before me, if not for three things: his walking mannerism, his distinct ears, and his voice as he called out to his fans.
I paused. Surely, this can't be happening right now.
(Inside the main hall)
With the commotion of a celebrity's arrival at the theatre, my turn had been delayed for at least twenty minutes. I took my position on the stage thereafter, doing my best to look as calm as possible before the panel – the musical director, vocal trainer and choreographer of Ghost The Musical.
Mr. Choi, the musical director, projected an aura of fatherly warmth. He brought the microphone close to his lips and gave me a warm greeting. I did the same to him. "We've had many contestants this morning who belted With You," he remarked curiously, "what do you say to trying a different concept with your audition?"
