Kensley's POV

🎶 Brain school, I'm sorry but there's no can do.

My youth ain't tangled up in bad decisions 🎶

Number one by Tove Stryke blasted from my speakers that Saturday morning.

Today was going to be a great day.

Wanna know why?

Because I'm going to "peaches" with Ace Miller.

Peaches is what we decided to call these sessions.

Just sessions of him teaching me things on how to be socially better.

And no, not kissing sessions or anything like that, just lessons.

I have no clue what's in store for me today, but it's gonna be fun.

I got out of the shower and got ready for the day.

I put on a mustard colored champion hoodie with black leggings and white nike prestos.

I let my hair down and straightened it.

"Kennyyyy your Uber's here!" I heard my mother yell from downstairs

"Kennyyyy your Uber's here!" I heard my mother yell from downstairs.

Shit.

I quickly switched off my speaker, for my phone and a backpack that was actually pre-packed

Kudos to me, hehe.

I rushed out of my room, running into the living room.

"Hey, I made you a yogurt parfait." Mom said as she handed me that parfait and a plastic spoon.

"Thanks." I collected it.

"Anddddd how was your masquerade ball last nig-"

"Bye mom." I shut the front door.

I'm not saying a word about that party.

Ever.

"Thank you." I said to the Uber driver as I hopped out of the car right after.

My eyes widened in shock at this.

Of course I was already astonished when Ace gave me his home address and I found out he lived in Middleton Estate, the most luxurious and high end estate there is.

And then to be in front of these high black gates, and to see the mansion through the gates was quite overwhelming to me.

I mean, these are the houses seen in movies and magazines.

Reminds me of the Avengers headquarters to be quite honest.

I wonder how much this all was.

Or how scared the construction workers were when they had to build the uppermost part of the house.
