Why do men have the assumption that I am looking for someone to take care of me? I want a companion; not an aide. I want someone to love me. I'm not looking for someone to be a nurse maid. I can pay people to do that. It's kind of an insult; like there is nothing more to me besides being a physical burden. At this rate, I'll never have a relationship. Do I have nothing else to offer? The more things change, the more they stay the same. Do I not have a heart and mind? It just goes to show how closed minded people really are these days. I live in a liberal society and yet disabled people still don't have any worth. Even among Christian men, the response is the same. Is there a man out there for me? I just don't know.....
