"House" is one of my favorite TV shows. There are outrageous medical conditions that seem impossible to solve. Of course by the end of the show, the mystery is revealed and the patient has recovered. One episode involved a young man who arrived with his dominatrix. Very interesting! Later on, Dr. Chase questions this demented sexual practice. The dominatrix responded in a way I didn't expect. Being dominated is the ultimate form of trust. You allow yourself to be completely open and vulnerable to another person. You completely trust the authority of the individual that they won't go too far. They will not cause you harm. So, I was thinking.....in the words of Larry Norman, "Why Don't You Look into Jesus?" Isn't that how the Lord wants us to trust him? With everything? Completely? There is a lesson to be learned around every corner.
