You've seen Error get jealous, but what about Ink?
Ink sat back and watched the oneshot play through. He learned to appreciate the fan works based off of his own creations. He was flattered that he was able to sinpire others outside the UnderVerse demension, but sometimes he hated it. Like now.
Ink watched Error and you go out in a regular date in town. Like, a human Date in the other demension. How a date would normally work. It pained his soul. His error in the arms of a human he didn't even know. But he watched anyways, learning.
"Error! Let's go get a milkshake!"
You giggle cutely up to him, holding tight to his hand. Of course, that's unrealistic. Error hates physical contact without warning or preparation or he initiated it first. If not he gets all glitchy and adorable. Heh heh, cute glitchy error. Ink refocused himself back to the story the author was creating if the reader and his boyfriend.
"Whatever."
His voice wasn't even glitched! That was extremely inaccurate! Ink pouted, missing the sound of his glitched voice already. But he promised himself he would try to love the fan works people were making, even though most of them were shipping themselves with his characters when he clearly had love interests for them.
Ink followed them silently into the creamery. Grillby was working with Underswap Muffet behind the counter. That made no sense to Ink, but it was a fan work so he had to just roll with it. No matter how insensible this was.
"Vanilla with two cherries and two straws! Upsized!"
At this point Ink was being a salty grammar nazi. That doesn't convey the point you want a milkshake for two. And why was Error being so compliant? He has a need to dominate the situation half the time! He has a short temper of things like this!
Okay, of all the ice cream flavors in this shop, Ink decided to be salty, he crossed his arms and just sat at a table, watching the date play out. He hated this. He hated every bit of this. They completely messed up Error's character.
You And Error sat down at the table directly in the middle. No way would error sit in the middle! He's always insecure about everyone's thinking he's weird! He always forced them when they go on a date towards the side! This was all wrong! But they had their milkshake and started sharing. That's when Muffet came over.
"Do you want anything dearie? Or just here to spy?"
She clearly has seen a situation like this before. Ink sighed, pulling out a few G. She handed them to her.
"Just a double scoop rocky road and mint chocolate chip in a bowl, extra chocolate chips."
Muffet nodded and walked away to get his order. Great. This stressful fanfiction was forcing Ink to stress eat. Good thing they hadn't seen him yet, or he would probably throw off the whole plot of this story. This terrible story.
He watched, green with envy, as you put a dollop of whipped cream on the place his nose would be. Error got flustered as you pecked it off with a kiss. Muffet then came back with the ice cream. Then she sat down across from Ink.
"Any reason you're so mad, dearie? Is he your ex?"
Ink sighed, there was no way for Muffet to believe this. But yet, he felt like he really needed to get this off his ribcage. So what if a fanfiction character became senitant? It's not like it's his underswap muffet.
"Actually, this is an alternate reality to my own. The handsome skeleton over there is my husband."
Muffet paused, thinking, before nodding. She clearly got Grillby's understanding when she swapped, that was For sure. She nodded, as If convincing herself thst Ink wasn't just a delusional skeleton.
"And it upsets you that he's with someone else here?"
Ink nodded, huffing. He took the spoon and took a nice big bite out of the double scoop he bought. He let the ice cream melt in his mouth, making everything feel very cold. It was cooling him down, so bonus.
"Then why don't you just go back to your reality? You're obviously happier there."
Ink sat up a little straighter. He looked over to the couple. Both of them sipping at the same time out of their milkshake like those stereotypical couples in cliché movies thst nobody likes. That wasn't his Error, that was a crappy Fanfiction version of error. Ink smiled.
"Thanks Muffet. Here."
Ink pulled out two extra G as a tip for her. Muffler happily took it. Ink took the ice cream in one hand and with the other opened a rift so he could get back to his demension. He waved Muffet goodbye as he stepped through and closed the rift behind him. You and Error never noticed a thing.
When Ink got back in the void with his ice cream, he saw Error, PJ, and Gradient at the table playing cards against humanity. Ink smiled to himself and placed the bowl of ice cream on the counter. Yes, they made the void into a house. Don't judge them.
"HEy bAbE."
Error didn't even turn his head to know that Ink was there. That make Ink happier. You know what? Screw it. Who cares if the game is dirty, he wanted to play a game with his family. Because the family was his and it would forever be his.
Ink was Happier with his Error.
WHY AM I SO BAD AT FANFICTION!? UGH!!!
