(Peyton's P.O.V.)

"Ethan your so cute" I latched onto his sides

His deep voice let out a small laugh

"But your cuter" he slowly bent down to my height and moved a piece of hair out of my face

I looked into his eyes as he looked back into mine, our faces got closer and closer until I woke up..

"Daydreaming again" my friend amber looked at me from her desk

I looked confused and then at her

"Sorry I'm just really tired" I covered my face with my hands while trying to stay awake

She laughed a little, the bell rang and we quickly grabbed our stuff an headed to our lockers.

"So who is ethan?" She joked

I stopped at my locker as I blushed

"Um nobody why" I rushed to put my stuff into my locker

"Becauae you kept moaning his name in class" she laughed

I felt myself get red

"Shut up for real?!" I lightly hit my head against the lockers

"Yea you did I saw some guy get a boner just from you" she started to laugh a little louder

I felt so embarrassed, as we made our way to her locker she kept on making fun of me.

"Seriously though who is ethan?" She questioned me like she really wanted to know

Once we made our way to a table I let out a small breath and told her

"Ethan as in ethan dolan, how do you not know who he is" I joked

She looked at me with a confused face

"Oh why where you dreaming about him?" She asked again

I shrugged

"Well I'm leaving to move into my grandmothers tomorrow in California so I guess that's why" I tried to explain

She nodded her head in agreement

"Yeah that could be it, so are you excited to live with her" she said

I started to get sad about the thought of me leaving.

"Sort of, I mean I'll be in cali for one thing but I have to leave you behind" i sounded like I wanted to cry

I had to leave because my mom had gotten into a car crash a year ago and my dad hasn't been in my life since I was born.

"Well ill be fine pey, at least you will be by the dolans" she laughed

My grandma lived in this beach house that was only a block away from the twins apartment so it was pretty cool.

I looked at amber as she opened up her bag of chips with a small smile, I looked down at my phone noticing that my grandma had texted me.

Granny: I'm excited to see you honey bunny!!

I smiled, she always was the cutest little thing

Me: me too gran:)

I put my phone back onto the table taking in my last lunch with amber before I left..

"Wow I just realized how alone I'm going to be without you here" she interrupted my thoughts

I let out a small sighing laugh

"You could facetime me, gran is letting me do homeschooling so I'll be free" I pointed out

She nodded her head while her face still looked disappointed.

Silence filled the air as we ate our food. I looked around th cafeteria to get a last look of everyone here.

Not going to lie, I think I'll miss this place

"Well let's get out of here early so we can make it to 4th period" amber tapped my shoulder

I looked at her with wide eyes and doing what she said

As we made our way to our 4th period we found two empty desks by each other in the way back of the class so we could go to bed

Our class had been photography but we were watching a movie so we thought nap time was highly needed

"Girls your early?" Our teacher Mrs. Mesa looked at us

We looked over at her with fake smiles

"Yea we thought it would be nice to get here before everyone else" amber answered for both of us.

I just followed behind her like a lost dog

"Well girls feel free to do whatever until class starts" Mrs. Mesa quietly stated

Both of us just reached for our phones and went on Instagram

As I scrolled through I noticed that my old bestfriend from when I was younger had been in cali, so I went to his Dms and messaged him

Me: dude I'm moving to cali tomorrow are you still there?

I waited for around 16 minutes for this man to reply because he always sucked at it answering back to people

Finally I got an answer

Tyler: Shut up fr, I moved here like 3 years ago I cqnt wait to see you again

I started to feel relieved knowing I would have someone that I know there

I hated making new friends it wasn't my thing, I'm very antisocial and my anxiety loves to ruin things too

Me: dope, I'll let you know when I'm there then

Tyler: where are you staying?

Me: nana's

Tyler: cool lmk when your here I'll help you unpack and show you around

I smiled a little while closing my phone, he was always a good friend to me and he seems like he hasn't changed a bit

"Why so smiley" amber looked up from her phone and at me

"Oh an old friend said he'll help me unpack and show me around cali" I told her

She glared at me

"Who is this 'old friend' I thought I was your one and only" she mocked me

I gave her a serious look as she gave me a fake smile

"Oh shut up am, you are my one and only bestie, it's just hes a really good friend and we've known each other since we were 5" I informed her

She nodded her head trying to be reasonable with me

"He better just be friends because if I find out he is more then good old friends then I'm beating some ass" she started to get anxious

I laughed and started to make fun of her

Finally the bell rang and kids started rushing into class and taking their seats

Right when everyone was here the lights turned off and me and amber grabbed our blankets out of our bags and went to sleep.
