(Ethan's P.O.V.)

halfway through the party I was busy looking around for Peyton after seeing her talk to Stacy I never saw her come back to the party, that's when sorry kicked in

As I walked around I asked a lot of people of they have seen Peyton but everyone I asked didn't know where she was

Finally I looked over and saw her sitting by the water and she looked cold and upset, so I started to make my way over to her until Stacy grabbed my wrist and pulled me into her lips

I felt eyes watch us and I quickly pulled away from her to see Grayson, tyler, and sadly Peyton watching us

I looked at Peyton who quickly stood up and was basically running back to her house I looked back at Stacy who was watching Peyton with a smile on her face

"What the fuck was that" I snapped

Stacy gave me a sad look

"As is this how you treat your girlfriend" she slowly rubbed her fingers on the back of my neck

I pushed her hand off of me as I started to get frustrated

"We are not together anymore get that through your fucking head you psycho" I could feel my face getting so heated that it was turning red

Finally Grayson stepped in

"E go ill take care of it" he grabbed Stacy by her forearm while Dragging her away from me and near an empty area to talk

I looked over to Peyton house and I slowly made my way over

I knew she left her backdoor open so I opened the door and made my way inside

I saw her in her kitchen with a bottle of vodka next to her, and of course it looked half empty

"Peyton?" I said in a whisper voice

She didn't respond so she was either sleeping or ignoring me

I walked over to her and started to rub her back

"Pey can we talk" I tried to say

Still no answer so I picked her up and I walked to her room to put her to bed

Once I made it up the stairs and into her room I set her down and covered her up

"You have a girlfriend and you fucked with my emotions that's so fucking unfair" I finally heard her say

I felt guilty for making her feel this way but I wasn't even with Stacy yes we dated but we broke up 3 years ago

"We aren't dating Peyton she is my ex, she does this to a lot of people I get close to that's why I've been so hesitant to try anything with you because I knew she would pull something like this" I saw her eyes become sad and I moved over to her and hugged her

"Your not lying to me?" She asked in a sad tone

I pulled away from our hug and shook my head

"I would never lie to you.. ever" I tried to stay serious but she gave me the cutest smile as she grabbed the back of my neck and leaning in to kiss me

I leaned in as well and soon our lips met and it felt amazing, there was this feeling in me that I haven't felt in a long time

Once we departed our lips she loves over in the bed and patted the empty spot next to her for me to lay down in

I did as I was told and got in next to her as she lightly placed her head on my chest and she quickly fell asleep

I stared at the ceiling and I couldn't be more happy, but I knew that Stacy being here wasn't going to help anything. I mean she would probably tell Peyton some more lies so that way we won't even have a chance at being happy

It I chose to live in the now and my now was peyton, I looked down at her and smiled before starting to doze off to sleep

(Peyton's P.O.V )

I watched as Ethan layed close to me with his arm around my waist and his head buried into my neck

I felt happy inside like maybe we might have something good going for us after all

My door started to jiggle and it knocked me out of my thoughts

My grandma came into the room with two cups of coffee

Guess she already knew ethan was here

She gave me a small smile while handing me my mug and setting ethans down onto my side table

Before she left my room she kissed my forehead

"Love you nana" I whispered trying to make sure ethan would get his sleep

She turned to me and winked at me

"I love you more sugar plum" she left my room closing th door behind her

She was probably the sweetest  grandma you could have

While I slowly sat up ethan moved down to my stomach and continued to hug my torso

I layed in an uncomfortable way so that way he would be able to be comfy

My phone started to buzz so I quickly grabbed it off the table and answered it

"Hello?" I quietly spoke

"What happened last night with you and where is ethan?" Grayson sounded panicky

I let out a sigh of relief I dont know ehy but I was expecting stacy to get ahold of me

"Hes with me for one thing and for another stacy told me that ethan and her were together and that he was using me and all this other shit" I tried to explain

I could hear him let out a sigh

"Yes I'm sorry about that she does that to him alot, she somehow manages to find out if anyone tries to talk to him and she will take him away or say something to make sure he isnt happy" he sounded upset

I sat there not knowing what to say

"Well thank you for taking care of him and dont tell him I called to check on him. I don't need him calling me a softy or anything" he joked

I let out a small laugh before answering

"No problem gray" I said before hanging up the phone

I set my phone down and then I grabbed my remote to turn on the TV to watch a movie

As I went through Hulu I saw that they had Clueless on so I got all excited and started to watch it

When the music started playing I didnt realize how loud the TV had been and ethan slowly started to wake up

I reached for the remote and I turned the volume down

"I'm sorry i didnt realize it was lmthis loud" I apologized

He looked up into my eyes before kissing my lips lightly

"Its fine I needed to get up anyways" he smiled before reaching for his coffee

He started to sit up while I leaned my head onto his shoulder

We layed there in bed watching the movie before he kept getting messages from someone

"Who is it?" I asked

He quickly looked up from his phone tandem turned it off before I could see

"Oh uh grayson he was asking about where I was.. he said that I should get home" he started to make his way out of bed and put his shoes on

I thought to myself about how grayson called me and said that it was cool if ethan chilled here and that he just wanted to know he was here

But grayson wouldn't text him then call me
