(Ethans P.O.V.)

Grayson came home and we chilled and watched a little bit of Netflix before heading over to peytons

I looked over at my phone that was chilling on the side table by the couch I kept on getting a texts from someone

So I reached over for it and opened my phone revealing a random number

I looked at the texts seeing it was my psycho ex girlfriend

Psychobitch: baby I cant wait to see you tonight

Psychobitch: I'm going to that little bonfire party, I want going to at first but then I overheard that you were going

I felt my jaw clench up i didnt want to make a big deal because grayson would ask what a wrong and when I tell him about this he would freak out

While my ex was dating me she flirted with grayson and I never believed him when he would tell me until I caught it in the act

I almost lost my brother over this bicth and I wasn't planning on that happening again

Me: why do you still have my number, I told you to delete it

Psychobitch: oh baby I know you miss me, we can talk everything over tonight smooches

I left her on read feeling confused, why would she come back to L.A. and I hope this doesnt ruin my chances with peyton

"Yo its almost time to head over to the party, you ready to go?" Grayson snapped me out of my thoughts

I nodded my head and got off of the couch

As we drove over to peytons all I could think about was how this night was gonna go, I wondered if even going was a good idea

We made it to her house and I saw her in her bedroom window dancing around distracting herself from getting ready

I smiled to myself and loving how goofy she was

"Alright lets go" Grayson said while parking his car

I opened the door and made my way her to the front door

I lifted my hand and knocked on her door waiting for her to answer

(Peyton's P.O.V.)

My music was blasting and I couldn't help but distract myself by dancing around my room half naked avoiding getting ready

After a while I heard knocking on the from door, I bolted down the stairs and looked through the peephole to see Ethan and Grayson

I a little before opening the door

"Hey guys I only need a few more minutes" i shut the door behind them

They both nodded while making their way to the couch

Before making my way to my room I felt eyes watch me so I turned around and caught him looking at my lower half as soon as he saw me looking at him he turned back to Grayson avoiding eye contact

20 minutes had passed and I finally put makeup on along with a super cute outfit. I decided to wear black ripped skinny jeans with a white tee crop top and pairing the outfit with a pair of white vans

I made my way downstairs and both the boys turned their heads and they looked shocked

"Okay now I'm ready" I said making my way to the backdoor in the kitchen that had lead to the beach

Soon they both ended up following me to where tyler was waving for us to come over

As we got closer I saw a girl look at Ethan and lick her lips, I turned my head to see Ethan staring back as he took a gulp

I couldn't help but feel worried about it what if he had feelings for her and he shuts me out for her, or what if he completely forgets about me I mean tyler told him I felt something for him so why can't he see that

I moved my eyes back down to the sand and I felt tyler rub my back while introducing me to his other friends from his school

"Guys this is Peyton, Peyton these are the guys.. and girls" he joked

I looked up and have everyone a small wave followed by a fake smile

The same girl that was eyeing Ethan came up to me and took my arm dragging me away from everyone

"Hey I'm Stacy and according to tyler your Peyton?" She gave me a smile

I smiled back while nodding my head

"Yea I just moved here a few days ago and Tyler has beena my best friend for as long as I can remember he is more like a brother really" I corrected myself

She continued to smile and nod as I talked to her  I could tell she didn't care about a single word I had said

"Well that's cute, so I seen that you met my boyfriend and his brother" she giggled as she pointed to Ethan and Grayson

I turned my head back to her and felt my face drop

"Wait your Ethans girlfriend?" I felt my heart shatter into millions of pieces

She nodded her head while still holding on to that fake smile

"Yea we have been dating for 6 years now crazy right!" She waved over to Ethan who looked at me then looked away

I rubbed my arm nervously and I'm prettysure sure she could tell

"Aww sweety did you have feelings for him? I'm sorry he messes with every new girl just to make me upset but you seem like such a sweetheart that I'm going to let you slide, and ill even let you have the other twin" she made it seem like she was this generous person

I mentally rolled my eyes while hoping this conversation was going to end soon

Finally she hugged me and said one lasttime thing before leaving

"So from now on just stay away from him okay bunches, thank you" I stood there as she slipped back to the bonfire

I felt tears fill my eyes as I slowly sat down trying to get myself warmed up since it was starting to get dark and I was by the ocean which made it 2 times colder

I've never felt so hurt before I never really had a real relationship and I was hoping Ethan and me would talk more and get to know each other a little better and that maybe just maybe we would turn into something more

But I guess I was wrong..
