(Ethans P.O.V. )

As the movie was halfway through I slowly put my arm around peyton and I could feel her smile into my chest

It was cute, she was cute and I want to get to know her more so things can maybe hopefully happen

I looked over at grayson who was passed out on the couch and then down to Tyler who had been shoving popcorn in his mouth while intensely watching the movie

I thought this movie was quite cheesey but I can tell pey loves it so I want going to complain

As I continued to watch the movie I felt peyton pick her head up to look at me

Once she glanced up I looked down as she was half asleep

I gave a small laugh while she lowered her head back down onto my chest

I motioned my way to tyler slowly trying not to wake peyton up

"Dude wake grayson up" I asked

He looked over at grayson and elbowed him in his side

Grayson quickly shot up and hit Tyler back

"Ow dude that hurt" Tyler's tone got louder

I held up my finger against my lips shushing them

They looked over to peyton and nodded their heads

"Hey I'm going to stay here tonight so you can go home I know your tired" I told grayson

He stood up did a stretch and patted me on the back before leaving

I looked back over to tyler who was giving me a weird look

"What?" I asked

"Your staying the night? Why" he sounded a little overprotective

"Dude shes like my sister you better not do anything" he sounded a little upset

I just agreed with him so he wouldn't get to mad at me

"I know I'm going to sleep down here I just want to go put her in her own bed" I yawned

He gave me a small smile and headed out of the house

He hated when his friends start to have feelings for someone he is really close to like they are almost always off limits but he seems pretty chill when I'm with her

we were alone and her grandma had been out with her boyfriend for the night I slowly grabbed her legs and picked them up bridal style I slowly made my way up the small staircase to her room

As I slowly opened her door I looked around her cute ocean themed room

I walked over to her bed and gently set her down

Before I could walk away I felt her grab my wrist

"Stay" she basically whispered

I had a small smile on my face and I did what I was told so I walked over to the door shutting it and made my way into the bed

I made my way under the thin blankets and I was back to back with her

I didnt want to cuddle her if she wasn't comfterable with it

But I guess I was wrong she quickly rolled over and moved my body onto my back so she could lay her head on my chest

I smiled at how adorable she was

I moved over so she had more room and I lightly put my arm around her

After rubbing her back for a few minutes I started to get tired and I fell asleep

(Peyton's P.O.V.)

The door to my room opened up as I heard the creaking noise

I ignored it thinking it was my grandma checking up on me

But then I realized ethan was here still so I forced myself to get up and look and there he was walking into my room

"Hey sorry, I woke up before you and your grandma said you like coffee so I made you some" he handed me a mug filled with coffee I patted my bed making him sit down

He gave me a tired smile while motioning over to me

"Thank you for the coffee" I lightly said

He nodded

"Anything for you" he continued to smile

"So how did you sleep last night sorry if I snored" I felt a little embarrassed no knowing if I did or not

He shook his head

"No you didnt but you did drool alot" he pointed out to a wet spot on his shirt

I felt my mouth drop as I tried to cover my face

"Oh God I'm sorry" I said

He looked at me with a soft smile and moved a piece of hair out of my face

"Its fine" he looked like he was staying to slowly lean in until my nana came in

"Oh your up dear I made you both chocolate chip pancakes and bacon" she had a happy tone in her voice

I looked in her direction

"Thank you nana we will be down in a sec" I held up one finger as i told her

She slowly shut my door after and I could hear her walk back into her room

"I'll race you" I set my coffee down onto my bedside table before getting up

He gave me a look before doing the same

I quickly bolted out of my room and made my way into the kitchen, once ethan made it he quickly picked me up and spun me around

"You cheater" he mocked me

I jokingly rolled my eyes and laughed

"Not my fault your just slow" I him poked him as he started to let me down

It amazed me by how short I was compared to him

I stood 5'3 while he was 5'11

We walked over to the food and started eating

"So dont forget tonight is the party" he nudged me

I looked over at him and smiled

"How could I forget, I'm nervous to go, is it to late to just stay here and watch movies all night?" I didnt really want to go and meet new people

Ethan kept on shoving pancakes into his mouth while half listening

"I mean ik down for a movie night but I sorta promised I would go to this bonfire and I think you should go to" he said with a mouthful of food

I stared at my plate not caring to look up

"I guess" was the only thing that left my mouth

Dont get me wrong a bonfire party sounds amazing, but only if I was social enough around other people

"Well I should get going soon I have to head home before grayson comes home from school, I'll come back around 6?" He walked over putting his plate into the sink

I finally looked up from my untouched food

"Yea thats fine, I mean the party is literally a few feet away from my house so we can all just come here first" I offered

He turned to me and agreed

"Yea that sounds good I'll see you later" he walked over to me and kissed my cheek before leaving

Once I heard the front door close i couldn't help but smile at the thought of ethan
