(Peyton's P.O.V. )

The next day rolled around and my progress was better than before so the doctor signed a release form for me to go home

As I got dressed and headed down to the lobby to finish paperwork I quickly called an uber so I could go home and not have to worry about dealing with anybody

The lobby was pretty quiet, nobody was actually here so I sat down waiting for the uber to get here

After a few minutes I got a text saying that it was here

I stood up and made my way outside to see tyler waving at me from the front seat

"Why are you here?" I asked him as he rolled down his window

"Well I didnt want to just show up I guess" he told me

I rolled my eyes sarcastically

"You know it would have been less weird to just tell me it was you who was picking me up" I moaned as I hopped into the car

He laughed at me before driving off

The rest of the car ride was quiet and kind of nice, I was tired of everything and annoyed but the silence was nice and relaxing

Before I knew it we arrived at my house, as we sat there I could feel tyler staring at me

"Look Peyton, whatever happened between you and Ethan I will always be here for you okay" his eyes looked upset

I quickly looked away and started to open the door before I felt tyler grab my arm

"One last thing, please forgive Ethan for whatever he did. He is crazy about you" his words stabbed me

I yanked my arm away from him and jumped out of the car

"Yea well he cheated twice and it was with the girl who paid a man to rape me so I don't think ill be able to forgive him anytime soon" I yelled as i slammed the door

Once I made it to my front door I glanced behind me to see tyler quickly backing out of the driveway and angrily leaving my house

I didnt even acknowledge my nana when I walked into the house. I just bolted up the stairs and went straight into my room

"I seriously hate my life" chills filled my body once I hit the bed

My silk sheets were cold and the breeze from the window started to blow cold air which made the sheets colder

"Hey darling I have left overs in the fridge for you since me and jack are headed out to dinner" a soft voice came from my door

My head turned to see my nana giving me a sad smile while slowly walking over to me

"Thank you nana, I've been dying to eat something other than hospital food and their nasty jello cups" a small laugh escaped my lips

She squatted into a chair beside my bed and rubbed my arms while kissing my forehead

"Anything you need just give me a call and we will come right back" she said in a whispered tone

All I did was nod my head and turn the other way avoiding talking to her any longer

I was starting to get a headache and I honestly just wanted to go to bed and forget about everything for a while

As soon as I heard my door close I rolled back over and stared at the wall filled with pictures

I began to go from picture to picture and my eyes began to water at the site of a picture that me and ethan took together the day we officially started dating

And then my eyes moved along to the other pictures of us and I never wanted to break down so bad until now

But I wasnt going to let that happen, i got up from my bed and ran downstairs to go heat up the left overs

The moment I finally stepped into the living room a knock came from the door

I tried to ignore it but the knocking just continued

Finally I've had enough and without checking the peephole I quickly opened the door and came face to face with the devil itself
