Sighing, I crossed my arms and looked up to the sky that was above me. Stars painted the black sky like polka dots. My mind was racing with the thoughts of the rest of our group being dead.

My eyes teared up at the thought of Mark hurt somewhere or being dead or being a walker. The thought of him being a walker made me look down and screw my eyes shut.

I wasn't going to let myself cry now, when we had to think of a game plan as to what was next. I wasn't going to break down, not when they need me to be all there.

My eyes stung as I opened them and looked to the dark grass that was below me. I don't know what it was, there was something that hurt me deep inside. I guess it was the unknown that hurt me the most.

My name echoed through the darkness but I didn't bother to look. I could have sworn that I heard his voice. That it was him that was calling out to me, but that was impossible.

"Luna." It comes through more clearly now, but I don't move a muscle. I could hear the running footsteps and soon enough I was being hugged from behind.

We stumbled a bit before I snapped back to reality and was turned around to be met with Mark, the look in his eyes was what brought me back. I was frozen for a moment, reaching up and gently touching his cheek, scared that he would disappear.

He leaned into my hand and my lip quivered as I smiled and hugged him. He hugged me back as I buried my head into his shoulder and breathed in his scent.

In the doorway of the house was Lynne, who was looking at us, Bella nowhere to be seen at the moment. "Let's go in." I say, pulling back from the hug and placing a kiss on his lips. The smile that came to his face made me happy as I took his hand in mine and walked with him into the house.

Everyone turned and looked to us as we walked in. I let go of Mark's hand and pulled Lynne into a hug. "I'm glad you're alive." She says and I smile, nodding as I pull back from her and look to Jinxx, who didn't meet my gaze.

After a bit, we'd come to the conclusion - by we I mean Lynne, Echo, and Mark - that we would leave tomorrow and stay here tonight to settle down.

To say that we were happy was an understatement as we all sat around, just enjoying the presence of one another. The the knock came.

Mark, Echo, and Lynne jumped to their feet, weapons drawn before Echo opened the door and tilted her head in confusion.

"You?"
