A wave of fear hit my body as I looked up to Luna. "What?!" I asked immediately, running over to her. My chest beat slowly along with my heart. I hoped that she was kidding.
"No, she's hiding..." I said, when I noticed the expression on her face was pure fear and devastation.
"Please tell me you're kidding...." I said slowly, not bringing myself to look her in the eyes. When silence came, I was barely able to keep myself from screaming immediately.
I felt see through, my heart hurt lowly. "Bella's missing? Where is she?!"
Luna got up as Echo tried to grab her arm. In a second, we were spinning around the room. "Where's the last place you saw her?"
"Uhh...her room, this morning..." Jinxx said, "I don't pay attention to the kid!"
"I'm sorry, Lune...I don't know. Maybe this morning?" Caleb apologized. "I'm sorry...I have no clue where she is. Have you checked the basement?"
"We have the keys, Caleb. I haven't seen her since last night..." Echo said, her eyes averting.
"I don't know, Ly..." Lisa said, "I haven't even heard her since you mentioned her name."
"Fuck, I thought she was just in her room!" Mark put his hands in his hair and shook his head.
"Who checked outside?"
"Bella knows not to go outside." I said, waving my hand to the garage door. "Caleb, you still have the remote to the garage?"
"No, I lost it earlier today." Caleb said, "I've been looking for it."
Luna sighed, and I felt my chest hurt. "No, she's not out there. She's not an idiot."
"Guys, she probably just went to go for a walk and clear her damn head. Come on, Luna, we're looking for her." Echo started. I shook my head.
"No, I'm going too." I demanded. "She's my sister."
"You don't want to see your little sister's body if we do find her." Jinxx realistically mentioned.
"I'd rather do that than do nothing." I hissed back. "Luna, come on."
"At least let me go," Mark responded, "you guys need backup."
"No, guys, you need to stay here in case she comes back." Luna said, "Lynne and I can handle it. I just hope you're right."
"That she didn't run away?"
I sighed.
"That she's alive."
