"Caleb, what did you do?" I asked as I held two-year old Bella in my arms, her voice in my shoulder.

" I...uh...tried baking Luna a cake for her birthday." He addressed the frosting that was on his upper lip. He smiled.

"Did I do good?" He joked. I smiled and shook my head, grabbing a napkin so I could help him.

"Leave the cooking to the professionals." I said with a joking wink. He put his hand on my shoulder.

"You burnt spaghetti last week."

"That was one time!"

I narrowed my eyes on the figures as they glared at me. Blake, who stood next to Harper, gave me a limited glance, crossing her arms which signalled that she probably wanted me dead too. Maybe because I was an E.R. nurse or maybe because she was the one who was holding Bella when we found her.

I looked back to Harper and went to whisper something, but nothing came out. It was soft. Everything was so quiet.

And then she glanced at me, staring at Luna with a wicked smirk. "Liar." She said with a hiss, putting the katana against his skin and slitting his throat.

"Ew, could you stop swallowing his face?" I asked with a laugh as I gestured to Jinxx and Caleb who were in the middle of making out.

Caleb jumped. "Lynne! What are you doing here? I locked the door! Uh...don't tell Luna!" He said immediately.

I raised an eyebrow. "Don't tell Luna? What? That you two are together?" I asked with a shocked expression.

He pulled away and stared at Jinxx. "That I'm...uh..." He shook his head. "We were just playing!"

"Caleb." I warned.

"Don't tell her that I'm gay." He whispered.

"You think Luna will care? Luna, out of everyone? Dude, I didn't even care. Luna loves you no matter what, why would you even say that to me?" I asked, putting a hand on my hip.

He looked down. "I don't want her to hate me like our dad did."

"NO!" Luna shouted as she took a step forward, putting her gun to Harper and pulling the trigger.

She fell to the ground with a whimper, and that's when Hell broke loose. I looked to Bella and put my hand on her shoulder.

"Bella, you need to go in the car." I demanded as I pointed. "Go in there and don't come back out until I come get you, got it?"

Bella nodded. "B-But Caleb..." She whimpered.

I felt my heart break like a promise. "Please, Bella. Go!" I shouted, and she obeyed. I watched her and as I turned around, I felt the feeling of someone hitting me.

"Lynne, please, I need your help!" Caleb shouted as he held Luna in his arms. I looked around.

"What?" I asked, only to see Luna's passed out body, a scar over her eye and blood dripping down.

"She passed out from the pain! We got into a fight with some raiders! P-Please Lynne, help!" He said with tears falling down his face.

I took a look at her and grabbed her in my own arms. Blood was gushing out of her eye, that held a large cut.

"I..."

"Can you save her eye?" He asked with worry in his voice. He looked to me with shaking hands.

I shook my head. "No. But give me my tools. I may be able to save her." In that moment, I watched Caleb cry.

"Blake, we don't have to do this." I shouted as she sent a kick to my stomach, making me fall to the ground.

"Yes we do." She said back whilst her hand was sent to my nose, as I whimpered. She hovered over me, punching me in the face.

"I don't want to hurt you, Blake." I said, moving out of the way and sending a kick to her knee so she backed up. I got to my feet and held my dagger in my right hand, just to see her hold her own.

"Well, Lynne. I do." She hissed and ran for me.

"So, Lynne, Luna, I need to tell you something." He said as he walked to us, giving us a look. I tilted my head.

"What's up?" I asked.

"So, you know Jinxx and I have been together for a while..." He said.

"I swear to God if you want me to wash your sheets again, Caleb." Luna scolded before he laughed and shook his head.

"No, no." He said, "but I do want to propose." He said, which made us stop in our tracks and stare at him.

"You want to propose to him?" I asked. He nodded with a smile.

"I want him to be mine forever!" He said, to which Luna only hugged him.

"I'm so happy for you." She whispered.

Her smile faded gently when she looked down. "Do you have a ring?" She asked. He shook his head.

"No...but we don't need one. It's too hard to get, I've been looking for hours every day. I just...we'll just go without it." Caleb gave a grin, "But I want to do it soon. Maybe when we get to a safe place."

"I feel like that's best." I commented, with a shrug.

"Speaking of which, when is Mark going to propose to you?" He teased, making Luna shake her head.

"What?" She asked. She coughed. "So, you want to make Jinxx your own?"

He smiled, "Yeah. Before it's too late."

I grunted as I pulled Blake by her arm, giving her a slice around her shoulder. She screamed and hit me in the back, causing me to flinch as I fell forward, only to jump back up.

"Just give up, Lynne." She said. I shook my head and sent a kick to her knee so she fell to the ground, getting herself a face full of dirt. She groaned and attempted to get her to her feet, before I ran over to her and put my dagger to her neck.

"Stop, Blake." I demanded. She shook her head as tears filled her eyes. She hit me in the face, which made me wince back but not release the knife that was on her throat.

"I can't...I didn't ask for this!" She shouted, as she attempted another jab at my stomach, only for me to keep her down.

"Don't make me kill you!" I begged. "I don't want anyone to die! I don't want to kill anyone, please, don't do this, Blake!"

Blake looked around for a second, her eyes full of fear.

Somehow, I couldn't be like them. I couldn't kill her. This wasn't the place nor the time to end someone's life. You can't get revenge.

I leaned forward. "Don't come back, ever again." I said with a hiss. She looked to me and then nodded as I felt Jinxx pull on me.

"LYNNE! We need to go! The herd!" He shouted. I looked up and watched as Blake stared at the walkers, knowing she needed to decide before I killed her myself or left her to die.

"Yes, ma'am." She said with an attitude.

I looked up, staring as the walkers began to approach. A few hundred of them, at least. I let off of Blake and watched her run off, staring at me before she left.

Then I looked to Luna, as she stood next to the car with Bella. She wasn't moving. Was she going to kill herself? I wondered.

I couldn't regain my composure before Mark pulled me away.

"BELLA!" I screamed, and then there was silence once more.
