My eyes graced over Bella as dinner was served onto the table. Her eyes were down on the table and her hands were folded over her lap, but she didn't say a word.

Silence was the only thing that any of us heard until I spoke.

"Bella, what happened?" I asked to the small girl.

She glanced up to me with teary eyes and then turned away for a second. I couldn't help but stare at her, feeling my own eyes fill with water. Under the table, my nails were digging into my wrist out of anger and impatience and sadness.

"Bella...why did you run away?"

"Do you realize how scared we were?!" Jinxx asked, breaking the tension. Bella looked up to him and winced back, but said nothing. "We were running around and around trying to find your ass!"

"Jinxx," Luna motioned, putting her hand on his shoulder. His dark hair covered his eyes as he looked away.

"Look, I get you're not my sister, but..." He shook his head. "We were worried about you! What made you think you can run off like that? Did you think you were cool? Did you want to make friends? Bella, we give a shit about you! I give a shit about you!" Now that's the first time I've ever heard Jinxx say that to anyone except Caleb. "And you just want to run off? Find some other group? You could've died! What would we have done if you died?!"

"Jinxx." I muttered through gritted teeth.

Bella began to cry silently, looking down at the table again. "Luna would've been devastated! Echo would've been devastated! Your sister would've been devastated! Hell, I'D be devastated! It's not fair, Bella! Why did you want to do that to us--?"

"Because I hate it here!" Bella screamed, slamming her hands on the table. "Nob'dy ca'es about me! Mommy and daddy didn't, and now these new people are here and eve'yone just cares about them! I'm so sad all the time but nobody helps me! Ever! I'm just the small little girl that can never go on any runs or anything! I'm tired of being useless."

Everyone went silent.

"Bella--you're...you're not useless." I began, before the young girl continued, tears now rolling down her face.

"I-I'm useless, Lynne! I'm..." She wiped her tears, "I wanted to go outside...to help you guys...and to breathe. But some walkers showed up and I had to run away. And then people came. They looked like daddy, and they were hitting a girl. Then they saw me and I had to run away again. I don't know what to do! I can't even go on a run."

"Bella--." LIsa began, before Bella got up from where she was sitting and ran to her room.

"I'm sorry I'm a disappointment!" She said, her lisp making it sound weird, though we couldn't hear it on the other end of a slammed door.

Then it was quiet once more.
