I'm sorry for the wait! I've been working almost everyday for the past two weeks and I just haven't had time to update!

============================================================================

I blocked a hit towards my face and spun away from my attacker. He immediately charged again trying to grab ahold of me, but I slipped out of his grasp and elbowed him in the ribs. He hissed through his teeth at the pain and his mate growled from somewhere in the room. Derek was a good fighter, one of the best. His size and strength were intimidating to begin with and if he got a hold on you, you were dead, but his size was also his downfall. Whereas I was smaller and more agile, his huge frame made him easier to spot and slower in his attacks.

From the corner of my eye, I could see Connor and Mason holding back a furious Hannah. It was hard for any mate to see to sit on the sidelines and watch their other half fight and get injured, especially when that mate use to be a rogue.

When you are born into a pack, training with other pack members is a normal everyday routine. If we didn't practice, we would have been taken over by rogues a long time ago. Rogues don't train or have any type of scheduling or daily routines; that we know of. Routines seem to remind rogues of pack life, and they don't want anything to do with it. When rogues fight with one another, it is usually to the death. Being an ex-rogue and seeing two pack mates fight, Hannah would automatically assume that we were fighting to the death.

The Alpha had purposely asked Derek to bring her to the next training day, so Hannah would begin to understand and trust her new pack members. Hannah already knows me but she doesn't trust me yet, or at least not with her mate.

"Hannah, it's okay. Were just training." Derek tried to comfort her from the mats, as I tried to kick out his legs from underneath him.

Hannah whimpered for her mate.

"So I see your mate finally found the balls to mark you." Derek laughed.

I growled. Nobody insults our mate, my wolf sneered.

I slipped under his arm and elbowed him in the back. He stumbled forward a bit but when he turned to face me again, his gold eyes were flashing with amusement.

Then I realised what he was doing, he was trying to get me to attack him out of anger, which would make me sloppy and easy to take down.

Calm down, calm down, I soothed my wolf.

"You do smell the same though, like an unmated wolf." Derek continued to taunt. "Did your mate chicken out? Could he not get it up?"

My growling escalated. I could feel my wolf itching to get out.

"I'm sure I could teach him a few things..." Derek winked at Hannah, causing her to blush.

I used that to my advantage. The second Derek's eyes strayed from me, I lunged.

Derek must have anticipated that, because he ducked at last minute, causing me to sail over his head and land behind him. I attacked again, aiming for any part of his body, using my fists and knees. Success flashed in Derek's eyes and I knew I had screwed up. I didn't have the upper strength like Derek does, so I was taught to fight with the sharper parts of my body, like my elbows. That way my arms were also closer to my body, and I could easily protect myself from a blow. By punching and extending my arm out, I unconsciously left my chest exposed.

My eyes widened in shock as I realised by mistake, and then I found myself sailing through the air. I missed the mats and slammed into the hardwood floor, sliding to a stop in the corner of the room.
