Sorry it's short but I'm rushing to work so I wanted to quickly upload this to give you guys something to read! P.S. Sorry about the cliffhanger again!

- Leah's POV -

I gingerly rubbed the sore skin around my ankle. The skin was inflamed and bleeding from the metal chain rubbing against it. The chain was dead bolted to the far wall, and without my wolf, it was futile to try and pull. The silver chain was long enough to walk comfortably around the room and to the bathroom, but the weight made walking painful.

I carefully shifted positions on the couch, trying to relieve the pain in my shoulder and head. The first day I had woken up--after my attempted escape--I had felt like I had been hit with a truck. My head had pounded and my chest and back were covered in bruises that were just beginning to fade. Mason had tried to give me painkillers but I wouldn't take them from a traitor. Every night though, he would leave them beside the bed before he left. It was only once he left and the pain became overwhelming, would I take them.

The lock popped and the doorknob twisted suddenly.

I opened my mouth to tell Mason off, but Luke walked in. I mean, Alpha Luke. The first night Luke had entered this room, he had demanded I either call him Alpha Luke or sweetheart. When I told him where he could shove it, he had backhanded me across the room.

"Ahh Leah darling, your awake!" He greeted me. He took my silence as an invitation to carry on. "You look like your in pain. You would be more comfortable on the bed."

I bared my teeth at him. There was no way I was going anywhere near that bed, no matter how soft and comfortable it looked. Sitting or sleeping in that bed would be giving up and accepting this fate.

Will will come for me, I reminded myself.

Luke slowly walked around the room, stopping to admire a piece of furniture or run his fingers over the bed. He looked up to see me watching him, and he smiled suggestively. My stomach churned at his look but I refused to back down from his gaze.

"I bought this bed specifically for you." He rattled on.

I turned my back to him and glared at the bathroom door.

"I can't wait to share it with you."

I froze as all the hair on my body rose. I could literally hear my heart lurch sickeningly. I felt my wolf stir in my mind and I couldn't figure out if I wanted to cry from happiness that my wolf was waking up, or be sick with the thought of sharing that bed with this rogue.

"You disgust me." I sneered.

Luke chuckled as he plopped down on the couch across from me.

"Your lying to yourself. We're mates, your supposed to love me."

I shivered as his black eyes travelled hungrily down to my chest. I fought the urge to cover my chest with my arms. I couldn't show him how much he terrified me.

"We. Are. Not. Mates." I told him again.

He just shook his head and grinned like he knew something I didn't.

My wolf twitched again in my head and I fought back a smile.

"Why don't we make a deal?" He said suddenly. I tried not to show any interest but I couldn't help but look up at him in surprise.

He grinned like a Cheshire cat once he had my attention. "I'll take off your chain..."

I frowned, and asked slowly, "What do you want in return?"

He sat forward and placed his elbows on his knees. "If, you sleep in your bed."

I scowled and sat farther away from him. "Why do you want me to sleep in that bed so badly?" I demanded.

Luke just shrugged. "No reason."

I growled, "I'll never sleep in that bed."

Suddenly Luke lunged at me. I scrambled back on the couch and cried out when the chain rubbed painfully along my ankle. An angry Luke leaned over me and I hunched down into the couch away from his face. He rubbed his stubble chin along my cheek and I tried to twist away from him.

"They're not coming for you," He whispered in my ear. His warm breath blew onto my skin making my stomach clench in nausea.

"They are coming!" I screamed at him.

"They're not even looking for you!" He laughed. "My men have been watching your tiny, insignificant pack and not one wolf has left that land."

"Will is coming for me, and he will kill you!" I screamed at his face.

He slapped me hard across the face, setting my cheek on fire.

"That lazy, good for nothing Alpha," He sneered, "Has been hanging around with a pretty little blond."

I tried not to let that affect me, but my heart still gave a painful squeeze in my chest.

"It's a good thing he has moved on so quickly," Luke continued as he rubbed his nose up my neck and to my ear. "Because you, my dear, are about to go into heat."
