"Will?" I called out.

The mist thickened until I couldn't see my hand in front of my face. It blocked any sound or scents and left me completely blind. I hated feeling vulnerable, especially by something so seemingly harmless. I stumbled further into the mist, numbly reaching out for anything.

"Will!" I screamed. My voice was immediately swallowed up and I began to shake with fear.

Something wrapped around my ankle and yanked. I reached out blindly to catch myself and hit the dirt; hard. The air was completely knocked out of my lungs and I gasped. I rolled onto my back and forced oxygen into my lungs. I clutched at my chest as the air whistled down into my aching lungs. All I could think about was the burning in my chest.

"Leah..."

I momentarily forgot about the pain and forced myself to sit up. I looked around, trying to pear through the dense fog.

"Will?" I cried. Hope swelled in my chest as I heard him answer.

"Will, where are you?!" I sobbed in relief at the sound of his beautiful honey voice.

"Follow my voice love."

My heart pounded painfully in my chest, and my wolf stirred in the back of my mind. I frantically began to crawl towards his voice, not trusting myself to stand and walk.

"Come on baby, I'm right here. Follow my voice." He continued to coax.

"Leah." A new voice whispered right in my ear.

I whipped around in horror but no one was there.

"Leah, come on baby..." Will called but his voice sounded farther away.

Crawling began to get more difficult as the ground turned muddy and my hands and knees started to sink. I forced myself to continue forward.

"Leah." That same voice whispered.

All the hair on my body raised and I shivered. I didn't dare turn around in fear of who I would see standing behind me.

The mud grew deeper and I had to stand or drown. The mud was now up to my thighs and I could barely move. I gritted my teeth and fought to keep my legs moving forward. Will's voice was the only hope I had, and I clung to it like it was a lifeline. The mud dropped in temperature and I started to shiver uncontrollably.

"W-w-i-l-l-l." I tried to call out through my chattering teeth.

"Don't give up Leah, just keep fighting." He answered, his voice much closer than before.

I forced myself towards the sound of his voice.

"You're never leaving me." A voice growled.

Before I could react, the ground gave out and I sunk under the mud. My arms and legs were useless in the mud, and I quickly became exhausted. My lungs burned like a small fire had started in my chest. I could feel my hair surround my face, choking me further.

I woke up gasping for air, and immediately regretted in. My lungs were burning! Every breath felt like razors in my chest and I coughed painfully. Oxygen wheezed in and out with every chocked breath, causing my already irritated throat to ache. Once I had slowed down my breathing to a dull ache, I realized I was not in Will and I's room.

The queen size bed I was currently sitting on was too soft, and I felt like I was being swallowed up by all the red pillows. I kicked away the thick red comforter and froze when I saw my bare legs. My stomach filled with dread when I saw that I was wearing a black silk nightgown. I covered my mouth in horror; someone had dressed me. Someone had seen me naked. My stomach clenched painfully and I forced myself not to throw up.
