Chapter Fifteen

I stared up at the white ceiling and sighed loudly. For the past twenty minutes I had been lying on Will's bed, of course that was after I had snooped through every drawer in his room. I ran my hands along the black silk sheets, loving the feeling of the silk on my skin. Will's room was quite extravagant for a quest bedroom. There was a matching armour, dresser, and bedside tables made of mango. A large bathroom was connected to the room with pristine white floors, a white sink and bathtub big enough for four.

There was nothing wrong with the room, but I didn't want to spend all day sitting in it. The only problem was my possessive mate and my best friend that was guarding the door so I couldn't escape.

Will? I reached out using the mind link.

I received an immediate reply. Yes love?

All thoughts left my mind as soon as he said that. I was afraid to say anything in case it had been a slip up and he would take it back. I had never had someone call me any sort of endearment before, and I realised how much I liked hearing it.

Leah? He asked again when I didn't reply.

Can you... Can you say it again? I asked hesitantly.

I could almost picture him smiling when he realised what I was asking.

Wouldn't you rather hear it in person? He asked.

The door opened immediately and Will walked in, looking as confident and mouthwatering as ever. His eyes raked up and down my body lazily, taking his time memorizing every curve and dip of body. I flushed under his gaze but I forced myself to keep my head up. I was an Alpha's mate now, and I had to start acting like one.

Will slowly stalked forward like he was circling his prey. I crawled further up on his bed as he closed the distance between us. I could feel my wolf come alive at the presence of our mate.

Will had reached the edge of the bed and was staring down at me with darkening eyes. His warm hand grabbed my ankle and dragged me across the silk sheets, closer to him so I was sitting on the edge of the bed. I stared up at him as he tentatively stroked my cheek. I closed my eyes and leaned into his palm, feeling the sparks that only mates can feel from each other. I felt Will's warm breath fan across my face as he leaned down.

My eyelids fluttered open so I could stare into his deep blue eyes. His eyes searched mine for a moment and he must have seen what he was looking for, because he slowly lowered his lips to mine. His soft lips brushed against mine, wreaking havoc on my nerves as he trailed his lips across to my ear.

"Love," his lips brushed my ear gently as he whispered. I shivered at the sound of his husky voice.

His lips moved down my neck agonizingly slow. He kissed, nibbled, and licked his way down to the corner of my neck and shoulder where he would mark me as his forever. My hands ran up his arms until my fingers were in his soft hair. I pulled on his hair gently, earning a soft growl from him in return. The sound caused goose bumps to appear on my arms.

Will pulled away from my neck and I whimpered at the sudden loss. He laughed softly but I stopped the sound by pressing my lips to his. His eyes widened slightly in shock but his wolf quickly raised to the surface and he growled in appreciation.

I cautiously moved my lips against his but Will being the ever dominant Alpha male, quickly took over the kiss as he pushed us back onto the bed. Will's hand trailed up my leg from my ankle to my thigh. His large hand wrapped around the back of my thigh and he squeezed gently. I gasped and he took the opportunity to plunge his tongue into my mouth.

My eyes opened in shock but they closed once again as Will ravaged my mouth. He pulled away so we could catch our breaths, and he continued to trail kisses down my neck again. I leaned my head back to give him better access to the sensitive spot on my shoulder. Will ran his tongue in a circle on my skin as he determined the place to mark me.

I looked down to see Will's black eyes staring up at me.

"Mine!" He growled and sank his teeth into my shoulder.

I cried out as his canines extended into my skin, forever marking me as his. The pain disappeared as I felt Will's emotions wash over me like they were my own. I could feel the love and happiness radiating off of him and I knew he could feel mine too. My wolf howled in pleasure as our bond grew stronger with our mate.

Will kept his fangs in for another minute, allowing his scent enough time to enter his mark. When he finally released my shoulder he lapped at the blood and sealed the wound with his saliva. He swirled his tongue around the marks and I shuddered.

Will leaned back to look at his mark and a huge grin broke out on his face. His white teeth stood out next to his tan skin. He brushed my hair away from my face as he stole another kiss.

I yawned loudly, abruptly stopping another make out session. Will laughed and rolled over onto his back, bringing me with him so I ended up on his chest. I placed a kiss on his chest earning a deep purr from Will. His arm tightened around my waist, pulling me closer to his chest.

"Get some sleep love," He mumbled, half asleep. I smiled at the endearment. "I'll be here when you wake up."

I quickly fell asleep with a satisfied smile on my face.
