It's been 9 months since my apartment fell on top of me. Barry is still comatose. I hope he wakes up, I still need to get to know him. I was in the crime lab working on a weird case. I was scanning samples of broken glass when my phone rang. It was Iris. "Hello?" "Hazel! You'll never guess what just happened!" "You saw Bigfoot?" "No! Better...Barry is awake!" "What? No way! Is he okay?" "Come ask him yourself." "No I shouldn't I don't him, Iris." "Hazel, please." "Go celebrate with Barry." "Hazel!" "Bye Iris." I hung up.

I continued to work until my lunch break. I went to Jitters and got a coffee. Iris called 3 times. I'm not going to pretend I know the guy when I don't even know him. I'm just going to work with him...and live...with him. I sighed. I grabbed my purse and and took out my book I never finished reading. That's when I saw Iris. "Oh god!" I said in a whisper. I tried to hide behind the book. "I already saw you Hazel." I brought the book down. "I know why your here. I'm not going to go see Barry. I don't know him." "Why not?" "What do you expect me to do? Say, 'Hey Congrats on waking up Barry. Oh sorry you don't know who I am. I'm a stranger. Bye.'? I don't think so Iris." "I knew you were going to say that so...I brought Barry here to meet you." "Wait you did what now?" I said caught off guard. As if on cue, Barry walked into Jitters and stood into the entrance. The light was hitting him. He looked like an angel. He's gorgeous.

He was smiling. I hid my face. Iris called him over. "Barry!" Barry looked over at us and walked over to us. "Hey Iris!" "This is my friend Hazel." "Any friend of Iris is a friend of mine." He said with a flash of a smile. He stuck his hand out for me to shake. I shook it. His hand was nice and warm. Stop it Hazel! "Hey you're the girl I met at CCPD. The girl who was soaking wet. You're the girl who is trying to steal my job." He said jokingly, but I could hear a hint of seriousness in his voice when he said the last statement. Iris was about to tell Barry what I did while he was in a coma. When I was saved by a clumsy waitress who dropped coffee mugs. Barry looked at the waitress confused and distracted. "Um I think I'll be heading home now." I walked out of Jitters and turned the corner to go home.

I was sitting in my bedroom with the door locked. I was sitting in silence wanting to relax. I couldn't stop think about Barry. I don't think he likes me. I was about to go take a jog. Jogging helps me clear my mind. Running makes all my problems go away. I put on running clothes and put my phone in my shirt and walked out my room. I walked back inside when I heard the voices of Barry, Iris, and Joe. I closed my door and went out my window. I jumped and landed on yhe ground with a thud. I snuck around the house and began my run. I was running for around an hour and thirty minutes when I took a break near Jitters. I saw Iris with Eddie Thawne or Detective Pretty Boy. They were talking and then they kissed. That's when I saw Barry, mouth open staring at Irid and Eddie as they kissed. I felt my heart break for Barry. Iris got up and walked to Barry looking guilty.

I continued running when a thick fog came out of nowhere. "What the-?" I slowed to a walk and heard a roar of a muscle car up ahead. The car was coming towards me. Another car was coming from the opposite direction. The fog was so thick the car ran into the muscle car. Their impact was so close to me that the explosion knocked me into the oncoming traffic lane. A car was flying up to me. With the fog appearing out of nowhere, I couldn't be seen. So this is how I die. Can't say I'm surprised since this is how my parents died. Except I'm getting hit by a car as to them hitting by a truck. I couldn't move with the amount of fear that took over my body.

The car was about to hit me when a gust of wind blew around me and I was on the opposite side of the road. I looked around but there was no one around. I was sitting next to Iris as I watched Barry and Joe talk. I almost lost my life because a freak fog came out of nowhere and blinded everyone. I'm lucky to even be alive.
