Few weeks later
*Hazel's POV*
I was sitting next to Barry at the West residence. I was sipping on hot coffee. Barry told Caitlin, Cisco, Joe, and me about the Reverse Flash's secret identity. I had a feeling about Wells. I knew he was hiding something. That was probably why he tried to kill me. All of us hid the fact we knew about Wells when he was around. Barry looked down at me, "I still can't believe that Wells is the man who killed my mother." Barry said staring blankly into my eyes. "I know...it hurts...I felt the same way when I found about my parent were the ones who killed Scott." I said. The front door burst open and Joe had tears in his face. "Joe? What's wrong?" "It's Eddie...the Reverse Flash took him." Joe said. "What?! Where?" "By the river on the bridge. He was with Iris." Barry flashed out the room.
We were all at S.T.A.R. Labs. We were waiting for Barry to arrive. I was pacing. "I should be out there with him." I said. "Hazel, with the Reverse Flash wanting you dead...I don't think that's such a good idea." Joe said. I sighed. Barry slid into the cortex. "I can't...I couldn't...I don't know where he's at. I searched the whole city. There was no sign of him anywhere." Barry said quickly and out of breath. I walked to him. I grabbed the back of his head and pulled him into a hug. "Hello...Barry." We all turned around. "Or should I say...Flash." it was Iris. "Iris." Barry let go of me. "I can't believe you guys left me in the dark about this!" Iris exclaimed. "Iris I had to...I wanted to tell you but...I couldn't lose you too. If I lost Hazel and you...then I might as well die because I wouldn't be able to live with myself knowing that I was the cause of both of your deaths." Barry said as he flashed away out of S.T.A.R. Labs.
"Since when do you have powers?" Iris asked. "What? Oh...a while now for a couple of months." "I can't believe this." "Iris...I'm dangerous...I can destroy this city...I couldn't tell you because I would have lost a friend." I told her. Iris just nodded her head. I went to go after Barry. Ronnie stood in my way. "Just give him some time, Haze. He'll be just fine." Ronnie said. I nodded my head slowly as I looked at the entrance to the Cortex. There was a beep of an alert on the computer. A video popped up on the screen. It was Dr. Wells the Reverse Flash. He was looking at the camera. He smiled and waved. Barry flashed back. He saw the camera. "BARRY DON'T!" I screamed. Barry got his suit and was gone. We all watched the stand-off between the two speedsters. "Ah...Mr. Allen. If I were you...I'd move out of my way...or you die." "No! No! I'm putting you away!" "Barry...we already went over this...I'm faster than you...you'll die in the matter of seconds." "That's why I brought some friends." Barry said. Ronnie showed up as Firestorm. I looked to my right where he was just standing before. I looked back at the screen, "No.." I muttered under my breath. I went to go outside. "Joe pulled me back. "Hazel! No! Barry knows what he's doing." Joe said. "Hello, Mr. Raymond." "Uh-uh... No, you don't get to call me that, you homicidal maniac." "Ooh! That hurt Raymond." "Oh you're about to be in a whole world of pain." said a blur of dark green as he landed on the other side of Barry. "Oh even the Arrow is here." Wells said. "Shut up." Oliver said. "Oh this is going to be quick." "I don't know if you noticed or not but it's three against one." "Even better. This is going to be fun." He said in a deep, distorted voice. "That's not terrifying at all." Ronnie said. The three men ran towards Reverse Flash and began their fight.
"I should be out there! I can help them!" I said. "I don't know your powers Hazel but I do know one thing...Barry would want you safe." "Says the woman who wanted to be in the know because she didn't want to be safe. You can take care of yourself were the words that exited your mouth, if I recall." I said. "Hazel, I'm sorry I have to do this, but if this keeps you safe, so be it." Joe said as he stuck a needle into my neck. My eyes flickered blue and then red with flames. My eyes closed and I blacked out.
I woke up in a cell. My head stirred. "No." I said as I realized where I was. I punched the glass trying to break free. "Cisco can she break out?" "No. She can't, this cell is indestructible." "It better be." Joe said as he walked away. My eyes change to blue. "I'm sorry Hazel...you won't be able to break out. I built this cell." Cisco said as he turned around and walked away. My eyes went red with flames. I'm getting out of this cell. If Barry dies. I might go full-blown evil. My body erupted into flames and I started pounding on the glass. The door closed. I screamed. I kept punching the glass until my knuckles bled. I didn't care. I wasn't about to sit here and wait. I activated my earth powers. I touched the ground. I closed my eyes.
*Caitlin POV*
"Uh...Cisco...what's Hazel doing?" Joe asked. "Nothing good!" Cisco exclaimed. We all watched the video feed of the fight between the Reverse Flash and the others. While, I watched Hazel, she was touching her hand to the floor of the cell. Cisco started typing on the keyboard. "What are you doing?" "Trying to stop Hazel from breaking out. The last thing we need is a ticked off Hazel in god mode." Cisco said. "Agreed. So, How do we stop her?" Joe asked. "We knock her out with sleeping gas." Cisco said as he pushed a button. A grey gas started to fill the cell. "She should be out cold for the next 5 hours. Hopefully." Cisco said.
*Hazel's POV*
I was causing a quake. I focused the quake on the one cell. A gas started to fill up the cell. My flames grew brighter and hotter. I was heating up the gas. Maybe I can cause an explosion. Gas plus heat equals explosion...right? Wait that's a bad idea...I'm inside the cell. I'll blow up. Yeah, let's maybe NOT do that. I breathed in and the gas went into my system. I shook my head. My eyes turned to a different color. Yellow. I stood up and looked at my arms. Lightning was flickering off my body. I looked at the camera in the cell. I waved. I let out a breath of exhilaration. I shocked the camera and it blew a fuse. I put my hand against the glass and pressed hard against it. I saw a crack. I used all of my elemental powers and felt like the kid from that tv show, AVATAR or whatever. My hair was flipping around my face. my right arm was icy, fiery, a vortex of air rotating around my fist, and the iron that was in the camera flew to my hand. Who puts iron inside a camera? I pulled my arm back. Cisco and the others were running to the cell. I punched the glass and did again and again. the crack was getting bigger. I was screaming my powers intensified and I broke the glass and the door with one last punch. It caused an explosion. It knocked everyone to the floor. I walked out the cell still furious and full elemental.
I walked outside to see that the boys were losing. Reverse Flash had Barry in his hand by his throat. I ran at Wells at full speed tearing up the earth and the sky shot lightning down onto my body. Every step I took caused more rocks to pull up. Wells looked at me and cocked his head. Barry looked at me and his eyes widened. I jumped into the air and punched the ground as I landed. Wells went flying into S.T.A.R. Labs. He fell to the ground. Barry looked at me, "You know how long I've been waiting for you to do that?" "A while now I'm guessing." I said with a smirk. Oliver was taken back to Starling City by Ronnie. Barry stood over Wells. "I got you. I finally got you." he said with a smile.
