I heard a knock on my door. I opened the door to reveal Iris. "Hey um there's a party going on at a club 3 days from now if you want to go." Iris said. "Um okay. I'll think about it." I said. "Okay well if you do where something nice." she said then walked away. I closed my door and went to my window. I saw a figure in a red suit and mask standing on the street corner below. He was looking up at my window. Then in a flurry of color he was gone. The Red Streak!

The next morning I was in the field early in the morning. I did my part and went to leave. As I went to leave Barry was walking in. "Hazel! Hey where you going? Done already?" "Uh yeah. I did all I could but I couldn't find a cause of death for any of the men. I did however fin poison particles on this bullet near the window." "Poison?" "Yeah gaseous poison. None of the men were able to make 3 or 4 feet away from the table before they were killed. The only use of bullets was from this man but he was using his gun to escape. It was almost like they were-" "-ambushed." Barry said as he finished my statement. "Okay Hazel I'll meet you at crime lab when I finish up here." "Okay." I said as I went to leave. A sudden gust of wind blew by me and was gone.

I arrived at the lab and went to my desk. I brought out the bullet to find there 2 more bullets next to it in separate bags. "What the?" I shrugged. I was waiting to see if any DNA was found on the bullets. It doesn't sound crazy to say this might have been a meta-human attack. I was leaning my forearms onto the thigh high table waiting for Barry to arrive. I was staring out the window. "Where are you Barry Allen?" I asked myself as I looked down at my watch. I pushed off the table and stretched for a long time. My shirt was a bit too short and 3 inches of my stomach showed. "Hey Hazel I'm here...whoa. Uh..." "Uh....what?" Barry cleared his throat out. "Uh did the DNA analysis finish yet?" "No it's still running." "Good, then I can do this while we wait." Barry said as he walked to me. "Do what while we-whoa!" I was interrupted by Barry as his lips connected with mine passionately. My breath was taken away. My heart jumped into my throat. I kissed him back with the same amount of passion. Barry pulled back and stared into my eyes. "Wha-wha-what was that for?" I asked out of breath from the long kiss. "I have been waiting the whole morning to do that." Barry said. "The whole morning huh? How hard was it for you to wait?" I asked. "Extremely difficult." I leaned forward and stood on my toes. I kissed his lips tenderly. "You're so short, you know that?" Barry said in between the kisses. "Shut up, String Bean." I said. "String Bean?" "Yes...I couldn't come up with anything better. Plus, it kinda works. Your tall and slim but fit." I said with a smile. "Oh ho! Is that what you think?" "Yes it is exactly what I think of you." At that point, the DNA analyzer went off. "Oh it's done." Barry said. I walked away to the analyzer. "There's DNA inside the poison particle." "Human?" "Looks like it." "Can you see who?" "I can try." I typed on the computer. "It says the DNA belongs to a 'Kyle Nimbus' he supposed to be dead. It says here he was given the death sentence was executed-" "-the night the accelerator exploded." "Yep." "Great. Okay Hazel I have to go. I'll see you tonight." Barry said with a wink. "What?" I thought for a moment. "Oh!" I said as I realized what he was talking about. "Yeah. Later." Barry said as he walked out of the room.

I walked home and it was already night by the time I got home. What happened to my day? Have I really been at CCPD all day? I threw my bag onto my bed as I entered my room. I grabbed a pair of clean clothes. I closed my door and started to change my clothes. I was about to change my clothes when the door flew open to reveal Barry. "Hey Hazel! Whoops! Sorry!" Barry said as his face blushed a deep shade of red. "BARRY! EVER HEARD OF KNOCKING?!" I exclaimed. Barry quickly closed the door and stood outside. I sighed. I thought for a moment. I walked to the door and opened it. Barry turned around. "Hey I'm sorry about-whoa!" Barry said. I pulled him inside my bedroom and closed the door.

Barry pressed his lips against mine tenderly. I ran my hands along the side of his face. He stopped kissing me. I gazed into his green-blue eyes and smiled. "You are so beautiful, Hazel Raymond." Barry said in a whisper into my ear. I hugged him and kissed his neck. I soon fell asleep with Barry's warm body holding me.
