I walked into the Cortex searching for the others. "Oh, so we're playing hide and go seek with me now? Fine, I'll play your stupid game." I said as I sucked the air out of all the rooms and people into the main Cortex room. "Well, that was a short game." I said. I created a small fireball from out nothing. "Dr. Wells. I remember when you scared me. Now, it seems it's the other way around." I said as tossed the fireball back and forth with my hands. "Hazel why are you doing this?" Cisco asked. "Well, Dr. Wells. Seemed to despise me when I first arrived in Central City... and now I know why...see I didn't of it at the time but, I don't think he likes the idea of Barry and I together. Then I remembered something Wells said to me. "That I was too afraid of my past and that my past has caught up with me and now I was too afraid to do anything about it and that there wasn't anything I could do." I said as I looked Wells in the eyes. "Remember that conversation, Wells? Hmm?" I asked. "Hazel. You need to stop." My eyes flickered back to blue and then to red. I was about to throw the fireball at Wells to find that I was restraining myself. I couldn't do it though, I was fighting myself. "HAZEL ALLISON RAYMOND!" yelled a voice. I slowly turned around. "Ronnie?" "Stop this or I will put you down myself!" Ronnie said. My eyes went blue. "No. That's not possible you're-you're dead." "I'm alive and I'm ticking, Hazel." "No. No. No!" I screamed my eyes went back to red. My hands were clenched into a fist and white hot. My hair was white hot from the burning rage I was feeling. "Everyone is betraying me! My parents! You! What's next huh? Is Scott going to be the Batman of Gotham City? I wouldn't be so surprised right now!" I screamed. "I'm sorry Hazel." Ronnie said as he blasted me. I flew into the wall. I tried to punch him but I couldn't I was resisting my own actions. "Hazel! I know you're in there." Ronnie said. "Oh how do you know?" "If you aren't I'm going to have to hurt you." "Well Hazel, isn't here right now leave a message and I might call you back." I said.

Ronnie lunged at me and he grabbed me and burst through the ceiling. He flew us to the middle of nowhere. "Where did you take me?" "Somewhere where people are safe from you while you're in this state." Ronnie said. "Ronnie!" I exclaimed. I took a chunk of earth out of the ground and turned into giant ball of ice. I broke it into a thousand shards of ice and launched them at Ronnie. I'm so sorry, Ronnie. "I'm so to do this Hazel but it is the only way to get you back to normal." Ronnie said. I looked up at him to see he released his clenched fists that were glowing bright white with heat. He looked at me then he...literally...exploded. His nuclear blasts caught me and my eyes went to blue. "Wha- happened?" I asked softly. Then the second blastwave hit me and I was sent flying through the air into a rock. My head smacked into it but, I luckily didn't get my brains splattered all over the rocks. I felt my head and body covered with wet, warm, blood. I saw two blurry figures towards me, it was Ronnie and Barry. I closed my eyes and blacked out.

I heard the sound of an EKG beeping slowly. I twitched. I slowly opened my eyes to see me in a building. I felt instant pain throughout my whole body. I closed my eyes and went back under. I heard voices, "She went back to normal after she was hit my the initial explosion. She blacked after she was hit by the second blastwave that sent her flying into a rock." said a voice. I tried to open my eyes but found I couldn't.

I woke up, I couldn't see anything. "Where is Barry?" Where am I? "Barry? Where is Barry? I need Barry." What happened? "Where is Barry?" That was the only thing I was saying and asking were a statement and question revolving around one particular person; Barry. "Where is Barry?" I said this but thought something different. "Guys, she's awake!" a voice said. "Barry? Where's-" I'm right here, Hazel. I'm sitting right next to you." Barry said as he squeezed my right hand gently. I smiled at his touch. "Hazel. Can you see me?" "Where are you?" "Caitlin why can't she see?" "Her being too close to the explosion Ronnie created has rendered her vision to the point of blindness. She will have it temporarily, though. With her accelerated regenerative abilities that happens when she manipulates the earth and its elements. The thing is she can only use the elements of earth and water to do this. No fire. We don't want a damaged, blind, angry Hazel. We want one, that's kind, caring, and funny." "And not a fully psychotic fiery killer bent on the deaths of her parents." Cisco chimed in. At least, I thought it was Cisco. "Ronnie? Ronnie's dead." "Umm...Hazel...do you remember much of what happened?" "No...all I remember is going after Rainbow Raider with Barry and Oliver." I said as I looked around (or at least tried to anyways) at their faces.

"Hazel...you were whammied by Bivolo and you went on a full-blown rampage. You tried to kill all of us. Including your poor uncle Ronnie." "Hey! What am I? Chopped Liver?" "and your boyfriend Barry." Caitlin explained. "What? Did I hurt anyone?" "A few bumps and bruises, you were injured the most. Hazel, while you were trying to kill all of us...you trying to restrain yourself. It was almost like you were fighting yourself. You were pulling your punches. It's like one half of your body wanted us dead while the other tried to save us...from you." Barry said. "Can we all agree that although her fire-manipulation and creation are her most powerful and coolest parts of her powers. She is absolutely terrifying when she uses them?" Cisco asked. "Um. Cisco." "Too soon. Sorry." "It's fine. I just wish I could have done something to stop this all before it happened." I said. "If it wasn't for Ronnie, we would all probably be dead. You would be horrified and broken and you would have probably died by killing everyone you know and love during a fiery rampage." Barry said.

I felt terrible. I almost killed everyone and all they cared about was my well-being. 'Hey I almost killed you.' 'It's okay your arm is broken, let me fix it for you.' I felt guilty. My actions weighing heavy on my heart. I nearly killed Barry, Caitlin, Cisco, Ronnie, Oliver, Felicity, and Dr. Wells. I even feel guilty on almost killing the two men who worked for my demons called "parents". I was knocked unconscious for three weeks. I got hit by a nuclear blast. Twice and somehow survived it. Although, I did survive the two blasts. The physical and mental toll it took on my body and mind was catastrophic. My brain activity was terribly low and my heart was beating way below a regular resting heart should be beating.

Every thirty or so minutes, my vision would get clearer. I still felt immense pain but, not as much I should feel. I have been walking around using with blue eyes so I could regenerate using the powers of the earth element. I wish the whole eye color changing thing also gave me extra-sensory vision. Like that superhero, Daredevil. Except you know, without all of the acid in my eyes. Instead, I was blind and I haplessly walked into walls, chairs, objects, doors, and people. I walked into a person. "Barry?" "Nope, sorry Haze." "Hi, Ronnie." "How are you doing?" Ronnie asked. I just looked at him. "I now realize how that was a stupid question." Ronnie said with a laugh. "No, its fine. Um...I'm getting better. I'm still blind as a bat." "I'm sorry." "For what?" "For the whole explosion thing happening in your face. I'm still relieved you actually survived it." Ronnie stated. "The whole explosion thing saved my friends from the damage that I could have caused them. Don't feel sorry for an action that saved the lives of your friends and fiancee from me." I stated. "Come on, time to see Cait. Your vision should be getting back to normal soon." Ronnie said. He took my hand and guided me to the room Caitlin was in.
