"Watch your step." Ronnie said as he slowly walked down the steps as I tried to walk down blind. "Thank you." "No problem, it's just the kind of uncle I am." Ronnie said with a laugh. We arrived to the room Caitlin was in. "Alright Hazel, let's see if your vision is getting better." "Okay." "You might need to power down the cool looking blue eyes for a few seconds." Caitlin stated. "Oh right. Sorry." I said as I turned off the elemental vision. There was a bright light in my eyes. Then it was gone. "Well, the good news is that your vision is healing at fast rate." "I feel a but statement coming after this." "But it will still take a while for it to fully heal. Around 8 to 11 hours tops." Caitlin said. I sighed. "Don't worry you'll be back to normal in no time." Ronnie said. "Where is everyone?" "Well, Caitlin is right here with us. I'm here sitting next you. Vice versa. Barry is at CCPD workinf constantly calling to check if you are okay. Cisco is investigating something with Joe. Wells is at home getting some rest and Oliver and Felicity are back at Starling City." Ronnie explained.
So, hours have passed and I was bored out of my mind. Not much to do when your blind except listen to music or conversations or have a conversation of your own with two of my relatives. I guess since Caitlin is going to become my aunt and all. I'm fine with it, that just means more Raymonds' in the family tree. I tried to keep my mind occupied.
I practiced with Ronnie to control my powers. Not angry was what I think was behind the lesson. I got a call, it was String Bean. "Hey! Little Munchkin is up walking around from what I hear from Caitlin." Barry said. "Yeah. I am. When are you coming over?" I asked really wanting a hug from him. "I get off at 9 tonight." 9?!" "I know...it's going to be a long night for me." Barry said bummed. "Well, hold out a little longer and then at the end of the day you get to see me. Hopefully, I will be able to see you." I told him. "Yeah. I like that. Alright, I got to go. I'll see you later." Barry said. "Okay, bye." I told him and hung up. Ronnie grabbed my phone and put it on the table. "There you go." "Thanks Ronnie." "Just doing what I do to keep my favorite niece happy and pain-free." Ronnie said.
It had been 8 hours and half hours. I was finally healed. I can see. How I have waited to see. I ran into so many walls and doors, I may have met more doors and walls than I have people in Central City. Ronnie was asleep in the medroom bed while Caitlin was asleep in the chair next to him.
I heard a vibrating sound coming from behind. My head snapped up. My eyes went blue. I turned around to come face to face with the Man in Yellow. "Need I remind you that I told you stay away from Barry Allen or the both of you would die. Now, here you are at the place he works out of." The man stated in a deep, distorted voice. "I'm not afraid of you." "You should be." "I've had my fair share nutcases. Plus, why would I be afraid of someone who just had the shoes melted to the floor?" I said. "You have powers now, interesting." "You don't know the half of it." I said as I erupted into flames. I walked to Man in Yellow. "Hazel, one thing you should know about me. I'm a whole lot smarter than you." He said as he walked towards me. "Let me tell you something that you probably didn't think I would know about speedsters. All speedsters are susceptible to one thing, right?" I stated as my left hand became cold, icy, and blue. The Man in Yellow stopped moving, "You're smart, but only extreme cold can restrain and keep a speedster from moving. I don't believe you have the ability to go that cold." he said. "Oh...do you now? Well, there's one thing you don't know about me. I am in control of all of the elements. Meaning...I can go that cold. I'm pretty sure I can stop you." I said as I walked to him and blasted him with extreme cold. His suit began to freeze, "Hazel...if you have learned anything from our previous encounters...I'm faster than you...and Barry. I can heat my body up to melt ice." he said as he walked towards me and grabbed me by the throat and lifted me off the ground. I grabbed his arm. "I'm Hazel...but it's time for you to die." "Hazel!" "I didn't realize we had guests." the man said as he ran to Ronnie and Caitlin and rendered them unconscious. He appeared back in front of me and was back to his previous position. "Now....where were we?" he stated.
"I. HAVE. HAD. ENOUGH! I AM TIRED OF ALMOST DYING! BEING CAPTURED BY SNART, GETTING HIT TWICE BY A NUCLEAR EXPLOSION, NEARLY GETTING SHOT IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD, HAVING AN APARTMENT COLLAPSE ON ME, AND NEARLY GET HIT BY CAR. I'VE HAD JUST DESTROYED A SECTION OF THE CITY! I NEARLY CRUSHED MY BOYFRIEND! MISTER! YOU PICKED THE WRONG DAY TO MESS WITH ME!" I screamed as I heated up. My hands turned white with heat. My body turned white with heat. I held my grasp on the Man in Yellow. He screamed. He was the most horrifying scream I've ever heard in my life. He pulled his hand back. A part of his suit fell to the floor. The Man in Yellow stood his ground and grabbed me; he flashed us outside. He began to punch me in speeds faster than light. My flames went out, my eyes were blue. I took a chunk out the ground and threw at him. He looked at the rock and split it cleanly in half. He ran to me and grabbed me by the neck and punched me faster and faster. I was spitting out blood. He kicked me in the stomach and I went flying. He caught at the opposite side and slammed me into the ground. He picked me up and vibrated his hand. "Goodbye, Hazel." He said as he ran his hand through my stomach. I let out a scream of pain. "I wasn't going to let this be quick...I want you to suffer." He stated then he dropped me to the ground and ran off.
I tried to get up on my knees. My eyes were flickering from blue to normal. The stayed blue for a 2 seconds then stayed normal. I collapsed to the ground. I turned over on my back. I laid on the ground close to death, waiting for help. No help came. The Man in Yellow knocked out Caitlin and Ronnie. I was alone. I closed my eyes. I'm coming, Scott.
