As usual we all sat down on our tables to get the after school program started. The guys Jared, Sebastian, Javier, Vinny, and Chris were all wrestling to see who would get the edge seat of the bench. This all occurred while the girls Melissa, Brianna, Cassidy, Susana, and Gaby sat down laughing their butts off at the idiots. This seemed the appropriate time for the site director of the after school program, Ms. Rosa, to count down so everyone would get with their groups. As she counted down everyone sat down and waited for her to talk.
"Okay guys," started Ms. Rosa," as you know today is the last day of school, but also the last day to see the tenth graders since tenth grade is where the after school program ends." All that was heard were the groans and the whines of some of the students while others just couldn't care less.
"To honor the tenth graders," Ms. Rosa continued," we have a special guest here to give a speech." Everyone clapped as one of the tenth grade leaders of the groups named Ms. Zully, went up to prepare for the speech.
"Hey guys, you all know me as Ms. Zully," she started," and I have come to know some of these tenth graders very well and I've known some longer than others." "Over the years we all became not just friends," she continued," but family as well. I've come to endure your guys's randomness and intelligence, your sarcasm and overall fun times together. I came to work as a leader when theses tenth graders were in fourth grade and I've seen them grow. I'm happy to say I am proud of how much you've all grown and I hope you all prosper in the future."
Ms. Zully had ended it there. No one needed to look up to understand why. Everyone had started to cry just like Ms. Zully. It was emotional for everyone, we had all gotten do close. While some were more outrageous than others we were all a family and that would never change. That's what the group of friends thought and they would soon need to prove meaning to those words.
