*Luna's POV*

"Hi, you've reached Sav-" The voicemail stopped suddenly and I heard heavy breaths through the phone. "Hey, Lune, I'm sorry! I couldn't find my phone anywhere and then I heard it under the couch and so I had to pick it up and now I'm out of breath." Savanna explained all too quickly and I was wondering if she was out of breath from talking instead of moving the couch.

"Wanna come over tonight? Stephen is staying at his place and I don't want to be home alone because last time-oh never mind. It doesn't matter, I hair don't want to be alone." I said softly chuckling and thanking myself before ruining everything by explaining that night with Luke.

"Sure, I have a couple friends who are bored. Care if they come?"

"Nope, not at all. You know what they say, the more, the less lonely." Savanna started giggling.

"I don't think that's how it goes, Luna."

"Bring them over for dinner too, I'll order Chinese food. I've been craving fortune cookies." Savanna quickly agreed and said they'd be over at six. At least I'd have something to keep my mind off of everything.

*Later that night*

"Luna, open the fricking door. We're starving." I heard Savanna pounding on my apartment door and I laughed loud enough that she could probably hear. I unlocked the door and began opening it and when I looked up I saw Savanna and her four 'friends'.

There standing behind a sheepish looking Savanna was one puppy dog Calum, one smiling Michael, one apologetic looking Ashton, and one anxious looking Luke.

"Uh, oh," I stumbled across my words until I realized I was just staring at them. "Come on in, I hope you all like Chinese. It's sitting on the kitchen table." The boys all listened to my words and basically ran into the kitchen and Savanna was following them until I grabbed her arm and pulled her back.

"Why didn't you tell me you were bringing them?" I asked in a whisper before I crossed my arms over my chest.

"Because you would have said no!"

"No, we're all friends now. There's no reason why I wouldn't have wanted them to come. I just would have liked to have known." Savanna gave me a sympathetic look and I looked around the room, wondering what was going on.

"No, Lune. Luke told me what happened." She gave me a weak smile and I sighed loudly, rolled my eyes, and ran my hands over my face. "He only did it because he wanted to talk to you. I'm sorry, I should have told you I knew but I just want you guys to be best friends again. I want us all to be best friends again." She was looking at the ground now and I saw a look of sadness run through her eyes. I never thought about the fact that I tore her friends away from her too. And suddenly I felt like an awful friend.

"I understand. I'm actually glad you brought them here, I do need to work things out with Luke. Thank you." Her face lit up and she instantly smiled. If only she knew I didn't actually mean it or want to talk to Luke.

I followed Savanna as she walked into the kitchen and grabbed a plate for food. The boys were all gathered around the table and it suddenly became silent when we walked in.

"Moona," I cringed when I heard the name. "Can I talk to you before we eat?" I nodded and he grabbed my hand and pulled me out the door and into the my apartment floor's main hallway.

"What's up?" I basically asked the floor because that's all I was looking at. That's all I could bring myself to look at.

"I don't want things to be weird between us. It was a mistake you made, a completely understandable mistake." I finally wasn't hiding anymore and I looked into his blue eyes. "I was playing the guitar for you, something I always used to do when we were younger and we always used to do other things too, if you know what I mean." I sighed loudly and played with my hands.

"Luke, you don't have to act like what I did was okay."

"But it is okay. We were both feeling nostalgic and it was a mistake. You didn't mean to kiss me, it was just the memories talking. You don't have to worry about anything. Nothing changed between us and I won't tell Stephen." He explained genuinely and I believed that he wouldn't do anything to harm me. And he was right, it was a mistake. I was just caught up in the music and old times. Nothing more.

"You really mean that?" He nodded and grabbed my hand and pulled me closer before engulfing me in a giant hug. It was a hug that made you feel happy and warm on the inside, like you were important and mattered.

"You know I mean it, Luna." I smiled to myself and hugged him tighter.

"Thanks Luke. I'm glad we can be friends again. Trust me, nothing like that will ever happen again."

He smiled and nodded before opening my door and letting me walk in before him.

"You guys better have saved me some food and Ashton, I swear if you ate my fortune cookie like you always used to I will push you out the window." I shouted through my apartment as I was suddenly in a much better mood. I walked into the kitchen to find Ashton running away from the kitchen table and everyone else laughing at the two of us. "You didn't! Once a stealer, always a stealer, Mr. Irwin."

"Luna, you can't hurt me! You were out there forever and I was still hungry. Don't bruise my face, I'm the only good looking one in the band. No one will like us if you do!" Ashton across the house running around, laughing like an idiot. The rest of the boys shouted in protest but I laughed along with him. I chased him around for a while until I got tired and hungry so I sat down at the table and began eating. Ashton didn't notice so he was still somewhere hiding.

I loved hanging out with Savanna and the boys because I could act like a child and get away with it. I could be stupid, sarcastic, obnoxious, or whatever I wanted. I could be myself.

I was glad we were all friends again and Luke could forgive me. I missed having them around. I was stupid to leave LA in the first place. Running away didn't really do much except separate me from them for two years.

I realized now it was a mistake but I wish I could have realized it then.
