I looked at all the happy faces that came here to see me, out of all the people in this hospital, me. As if it couldn't be any better I am moved out! Is this karma or something?
"Thank you," I said to Richie hugging her again. We pulled away and she was crying.
"You woke up," she said happily.
" Ya I was confused about why you weren't here, they explained everything." Her hazel eyes looked so happy. "That is why I am thanking you, you kept on checking in on me." Suddenly I hear a sigh across the room. I look behind Richie, there was a guy, a guy that I didn't even know. "Who is he?" I whisper. Richie rolls her eyes and walks over to the guy.
"Ashley, this is my brother, Caden. " She does have a brother! Caden gets up, or shall I say is forced into standing up, and walks towards me. Richie runs over to me before he gets here and whispers, "I think he likes you." My eye widen, I look closer at him. He has the same light brown hair as Richie, but his eyes. His eyes were dark blue. He had on a red v-neck that made him look muscular with black shorts and Vans. I got to say he was pretty good for the eyes.
" I doubt it, " I whispered back. She chuckled.
" Hey Sean want to come with me and get ice cream for everyone?" Richie asked. Oh no, please don't! Sean nods and walks over to her. Nooo! Sean! Don't leave me! Don't leave me with him! I smile, hiding my fear. As they walk out Richie does a look. The make-a-move look. Why oh why?!?
"So you are the girl she talks about all the time." Caden says with a brilliant smile.
"Um ya I guess." He holds out his hand to shake mine. I shake is with sweaty hands. Of course, of course. Why do I even have a crush on him, wait why do I think I have a crush on him?
"So how old are you?" I say.
" 18"
"Have you finished high school?"
"Oh uh well actually no I have to repeat a grade." Woah he got held back? "What grade are you?"
I am going to tell him something tgat I have dodged to tell anyone before. "I am supposed to be in 10th grade but it was to easy for me so I was able to go into 11th grade." His eyes widen, showing off the darkest bluest eyes.
"Wait Richie said you live close, do you go to West Link High?"
"I would like that, but I take online school."
"I can help you transfer, " he says with the smile.
"Will you?!?" I scream. He jumps, laughs, then nods. "Would you help with Sean too," he nods again. I couldn't help it but I hugged him and he hugged me back. I am finally going to public school!
