Caden was in his room, it was time. I was about to tell him not to go out with Isabella, right after I asked him to. I walked in his room and he was shirtless playing video games. He looked at me and smiled. I just sat there with my mouth open. He is distracting me, close your mouth! I smiled and sat on his bed.
"Well you know what I asked you in the car?" I asked. He nodded and put the controller down. I smiled and scooted down by him. "I don't really, want you to go out with her," I said blushing a little. He looked confused and scooted closer to me.
"Why? Do you like me?" he asked jokingly. I blushed a little more and looked at the ground.
"Psh no why would you think that?!?" I lie and look back into those dark blue eyes. He smiled and put his arm around me. I tensed up and just smiled like a looser.
"You sure?" He whispered. My stomach was in knots and I couldn't breath. I was speachless. He laughed and stood up. He held out his hand and I stood up and took it. He walked me out side, and to the park. He sat down as the sun slowly set. I ran to the playground and sat on the swing.
"Push me!" I screamed like a little kid, he laughed and walked over to me.
"I don't get it, I thought you would want to go by yourself," He says getting ready to push me.
"Exactly," I say then push off and hit him. He falls to the ground and I flip off the swing skinning my arm. I stand up quickly and watch Caden sitting up. I hold my elbow hiding the blood. He stands up and laughs.
"That back fired," He says swiping off the bark. I laugh and sit back on the swing. He lifts up my hand showing the injured elbow. He lookes confused then got out his wallet. In it was a band aid. He stuck it on and then sat on the swing next to me.
"So who are you asking to the dance, is it Isabella?" I say laughing and looking into his blue eyes. He smiles and shakes his head.
"No she is a self conserned werido." He says looking for my emotion. I smile and look at the bark.
"So who are you asking?" I ask slowly. He laughes then gets up and walks in front of me. He takes both of my hands and I stand up.
"Ashley, will you go to the dance with me?" He asks. I blush and smile.
"Uh sure," I say as he pulls me into a hug.
"Wait he asked you?" Richie asked, practically screaming, " Ah we have to find you a dress!" She says reaching for her purse.
"No, I have one." I say sitting down on my bed.
"Really the blue one or the red one?" She asks sitting next to me. She abviously didn't know. I stood up and walked to the closet then reached up to the box, my mother's box. They only saved a few things from the fire and one of the items was a beautiful baby blue dress. I put it on the bed as Richie peared over my shoulder. I opened the box. In it was old scrapbooks, nailpolish, and the dress box. Richie must have been confused with all this since she still thought the people I was living was my real parents. I took out the dress and watched Richies suprised face.
"That is-"
"Beautiful, I know, It was my m- aunts she gave it to me." I say pulling the dress to my shoulders. It was short sleeve dress with sparkley detailing till the sternum. Then nice and flowy till the ankles.
