I have learned these past few weeks that TV shows and movies are weird. They come up with the strangest conflicts with people. I like books better, they have more description. They are easier for me to know what's happening. I looked at the faces of these actors and actresses, I couldn't believe that they were mad, sad, or enthusiastic. In books I can picture the character, how they look. They are really talented actors and actresses.
"Ashley, you have been reading that book for hours, are you almost done with that chapter??" Richie asked for the millionth time.
"Uh ya one second," I looked up and saw her give the death glare.
"I shouldn't of shown you that book, now your glued to it." She mutters under her breath.
"Well I am almost done with it so I will be done in a second." I said turning the page. Harry Potter just defeated Professor Quirrel. Right when I started to read again the book got snatched out of my hand.
"You know there is another book after this right?" Another book, HOW??
"Really, do you have it??"
"I won't give it to you until you come with me to get some real clothes for school." She crossed her arms still holding that book.
"Fine!" I said standing up from my awesome water bed. I leaned over and took the crutches. It was great to be on my feet and all but using the crutches are hard!
I opened my door into my room and dropped all the bags. Shopping is really tiring, but fun!! I have never shopped for my self before, it was nice.
"Thank you Richie for buying me all these things. I need to get a job and pay you back." I said going through all my knew clothes, makeup, you name it.
"No no no no! You are going to rest not work!" Richie says guiding me to my bed. I plop my self down and got the amazing book and started reading again. Richie goes to all the things and starts putting them in the dresser and closet. "So do you think maybe later we can go get some fro yo with our brothers?" I looked up at her smiling face. Why was she always happy? I haven't had a real conversation between Caden and I since I told him. I had just been saying hi when I see him.
"N- Ya sure..." It was going to be weird to hang out with him and have a conversation with him after almost a month without talking to each other.
"Good so how about nine-ish?" I nod then focus back onto the book.
Dinner was really good, we had macaroni and cheese with milk. After that we walked on over to the fro yo place. I got cookies and cream, yum. We all sat down at the out side tables. It was nice outside, warm with a cool breeze.
"This is SOOO good, thanks Richie," Sean says digging practically his whole face in the bowl. Caden just sat there, he didn't get anything. He did come, why?
"Ya thanks Richie," I said looking down at the yumminess.
"No prob, you okay Caden?" We all looked at him. He looked lost in his train of thought. Richie punches him in the shoulder.
"What do you need Richie?" He says. I couldn't stand this any more. I put my yogurt down and crutched myself away. I wanted to run away not be stuck in this cast. I wanted to go somewhere I could empty my brain. I looked at a sign, "West Link Library." I walked in and it was filled with books, I could read here everyday, not having to worry about anyone or anything. What about Sean? I walked to the front desk, there was this woman. She looked nice, for once. She was a beautiful red head with glasses.
