I had my clothes on, my hair done, my makeup on, my nails painted, and backpack ready. Was I ready? Richie was still doing her hair so I went to eat breakfast. Caden was already in the kitchen making everyone pancakes.
"Did your mom make you cook?" I ask smiling.
"No," He says turning to me, "I am not selfish all the time." He turns back flipping the pancake.
"Well I am not eating that," I say walking to the fridge. He slips in front of me and shoves, what I'm geussing, a pancake in my mouth. I spit it out and throw it at him.
"Why don't you like my cooking," He says getting off the pancake then rushing over to the pan.
"I never said I didn't like your cooking," I say taking out a yogurt.
"Do you have something against pancakes?" He asks turning off the stove.
"No I just don't want to eat any right now," I say getting a spoon and sitting at the table. He sits next to me and digs in to his pancake.
"Oh," He says gulping. I decide to get him back for all the things he did to me. I got up and poured the yogurt into a bowl and walked back to the table. My face went into a worried sort of face.
"Did you smell this?" I asked holding the bowl out. He shackes his head then leans in and I smash it into his face. I put the bowl on the table and look at his face. He smears it off of his face. Then I run off into my room and lock it. He bangs on the door.
"Right before school, really?!?" He says then walks away. Richie walks over to me and smiles.
"What did you do?" Richie asks. I look at her and she is so beautiful.
"Uh I sort of smashed yogurt in his face," I say then we hear my stomach grumble. "Although I did forget to eat the yogurt." I say laughing. Richie laughs then goes back to her bed to put mascara on.
"Well he is probally taking a shower now so go get that food," she says reaching for her lipstick.
"Yay," I say opening the door to be greeted with a hug. Not just any hug, a hug that is all sticky from yogurt.
"Ha gotchya," Caden says leaping into the air. I run to the mirrior to find my self with yogurt in my hair. I look at the time to see that we have ten more minutes until the bus comes. I put my hair in a top knot and then turn around to a confused Caden.
"Aren't you going to take a shower?" He asks pointing to my hair.
"No I don't have time, neither do you," I say laughing. He runs out of the room and I make my way over to Richie. "Do I look okay?" I ask. Richie stands up and looks at me very carefully.
"Yes, you look amazing!" She says then goes back to picking up her things. I smile and make my way to the kitchen.
"So this is our school," Richie says as we walk in to my new school. I see lockers and people.
"Well I got to go to my classes, they are on the other side of the school. See ya later Ashley, or shall I call you Smartie." She says. I laugh and watch her walk away.
"So lets go to your locker then we can go to home room," Caden says taking my hand and leading me through the crowd of people. Suddenly I am on my but along with another girl. She stand up and swipes her blonde hair out of her face.
