Twisted Cinderella

Chapter 12

 "Ok when I take off your boot I want you to walk to the end of the room and back." the doctor said. I nodded as he took off the boot. There was my foot with nothing on it! I stood up and walked to the end of the room, no problem. Richie ran up to me and hugged me.

        "We should get home to see your school things," she said as we walked out of the hospital.

        When we got home I immediatly went to the kitchen to find my papers. I looked through them to find my schedule. Caden came over and looked at it above my shoulder then put his by mine to compare.

        "Hey we have home room together," He says I turn around.

        "Actually no my room is 364 and yours is 365," I lie. He looks sad and then reaches for my paper. I hold it to my chest then run to my room and close the door. I looked for somewhere to hide it then found the perfect spot where he would never look, in Richies stuff. I run over to Richie, and yes I actually ran, and gave her the paper.

        "Hide it," I whisper right as Caden walks in. Richie smiles and puts it in between all her papers.

        "So your lying," he says as I smile.

        "What makes you think that?" I ask sitting by Richie as she focuses on her papers.

        "Then show me your schedule." He says folding his arms and leaning against the wall.

        "I hid it, and I- uh- forgot where it is," I say walking towards him.

        "Oh really," He says and laughs.

        "Yes so can you please go out so I can find it," I say pushing him out. When he suddenly takes his hands and tickle my stomach, I laugh so hard and run out of the room away from him.

        "Hey where are you going?" He says running behind me. I get to the living room and look around. Where to go? Where to go? I run to the front door and pull it open then run to the grass. I look behind me and don't see any Caden. Then I am being lifted into the air. Caden starts spinning me around and I laugh.

        "I am not going to tell you where it is!" I yell and start getting dizzy. Caden must have got more dizzy then me because he fell to the ground. I fell on top of him and rolled onto the grass. "Try to focus on one thing it is funny," I say focusing on the tree by us. He laughs and sits up then I sit up.

        "It is like you never injured your foot," he says starring at my scared leg. I smile and stand up then run inside and into my room. I close the door and lock it.

        "So having fun with your boyfriend?" Richie says. Why does everyone think that???

         "Just because we kissed doesn't mean we're together. Plus I think the kiss was just in the moment." I say laying down on my bed.

          "You two are crazy," she says then lays down on her bed.

         Ashley was at her job and Richie was too so it was the perfect time to find her schedule. I walked into her room and looked at the night stand,  there was papers on it. I walked over and looked at the first paper, Richie schedule. I put the papers back down and looked through other things of Ashley.

         Then it occurred to me, Ashley was standing by Richie when I came in. Either it was a coincidence or not. I looked  through the papers once again and bingo I found it.  Sure enough she was lying about homeroom. I ran into my room and pulled out a frame, payback time.

   "Thanks so much for this job Tania!" I say walking out of the bakery.  This job was amazing.

        When I got home I immediatly went to my room to read, man I love reading. I looked around something was fishy. Suddenly I saw the worst thing above my bed. My schedule was in a picture frame staring right at me, that mean't he had to of found out. I quickly took the frame down and opened the back. There was a note, from Caden. I opened it up right as Richie walked in.

        "Had fun at your- what are you doing?" She says seeing I am holding a note and I have an opened picture frame on the bed.

        "Where excactly did you hide my schedule?" I ask. She smiles then sits next to me.

        "In my papers, did he find it?" She asks as she picks up the picture frame and looks at what is in it.

        "What do you think?" I say opening the note.

        "Well sorry," She says laughing then going over to her bed to do something. I finally got to read the note.

        Dear Ash,

                Why oh why would you lie to me?? Meet me at our alley way.

        "Uh Richie I have to go back to the backery and get my wallet I forgot it," I say walking out of the room. Wow that was a reasonable lie.

        

        I walked into the alley way where there was dumpsters and other items. Then all of a sudden Caden appeared in front of me.

        "Hello," he says smiling, but it wasn't normal it was evil like.

        "Hi..." I say taking a step back.

        "So I see you found my masterpeice," he says as I smile.

        "Oh you did that I never wouldn't of guessed," I say laughing.

        "Ok do you want to go to the bakery and eat there or stay here and eat." He says. I was confused until he pied me. I got it out of my eyes then ran behind him and jumped on him. I got some of the whipped cream off of my face and slapped it onto his face. He laughed then went to the dumpster, only to find like ten pies in there. I quickly jumped off and ran behind a different dumpster. I looked in and sure enough there was pies. I took two and before I could throw them at him he threw his at me.  Ran over to his before he made it and pied him.

        After all this crazyness we sat down by a dumpster, that smelled like pie, and just talked.

        "How did you like the pie?" he asks while getting whipped cream out of his clothes. I found a huge glob on my neck so I through it at his face. He laughs and smears it off.

        "That is how much I liked it!" I say while laughing.

        "So that was my lesson on to not  lie to me." He says standing up. I stood up and ran out of the alley way. Caden comes up behind me and we go back to the house.

        "Why are you guys all whipped creamy?" Sean says starring at us.

        "Gimme a hug!" I say quickly bear hugging him. He grunts and trys to pull away as Caden hugs his back.

        "Really!" Sean says as we let him go. "Now I have to take a shower," He says.

        "Well at least you can wash your scruffy hair for once." I say walking to my room.

        "Hey- woah is that what you go through to get your wallet?" Richies says standing up and comes towards me.

        "I kind of want take a shower, oh and I kind of lied to you about that," I say walking to my dresser.

        "No duh," She says giving me a towel. I smile and run to the shower, I wanted to be the first one. I loved having these playful fights with Caden.
