Toby was sitting on the couch in the barn waiting for Spencer to get home when his cell phone rang, he looked at the caller ID before he answered it, it was Emily.
“Hey Em, what's up?”
“Toby… it's Spencer” he could tell that she was crying even though she was trying really hard not to. He was immediately worried about Spencer and a lot of scenarios we're going through his head.
“Em what are you talking about, please tell me she's okay.” Toby said desperately, worry lacing his voice.
“She's in the hospital…… there was an accident…. She was driving on her way home to you and another car came out of nowhere and ….. she swerved to avoid it and ran off the road…... “ Emily sobbed.
Toby was freaking out at this point, he needed to know if she was okay.
“Oh my God, Em please tell me she's okay?!”
“She’s in surgery right now, I'm not sure exactly how bad her injuries are.” Emily said.
Toby knew he needed to get to the hospital, and FAST. He had to make sure Spencer was alright.
“I'm on my way.”
“I'll see you soon.”
Toby then hung up his phone and raced to his truck and sped off towards the hospital.

As soon as Toby got to the hospital he ran right in and saw Emily, Aria, Hanna, and Ali
And he ran right over to them. Emily was the first to notice him and she was relieved to see him.
“Toby!” she hugged him, he of course returned the hug, he needed it right now.
“Please tell me she's okay.” Toby said desperately.
“She just got out of surgery a few minutes ago, she's got a few broken bones but she's going to be just fine Toby.” Emily said and Toby let out a breath he didn't even realize he was holding in, he was so relieved she was going to be okay.
“Can I see her?” He asked.
“Absolutely, the nurse is just going over some stuff with her but I know she's going to be really happy to see you, she's been asking for you ever since she woke up and Em told her you were on your way.” Aria answered.
“Thanks girls. What room is she in?”
“214.” Alison said.
Ahh the nostalgia.
“Great, thanks Ali.”
“No problem. Now go see your wife.” Ali smiled at him which he returned and then headed for Spencer's room.
As soon as he walked in Spencer smiled widely at him. She had a cast on her right leg and her right wrist but other than that she seemed perfectly fine and she looked as beautiful as ever to Toby.
“Tobes!”
“Spence.” He ran over to her bedside and hugged her and she quickly wrapped her arms around him returning the hug.
“I'm going to give you two some alone time.”
The nurse said and smiled at them before walking out.
Still happily wrapped in her husband's warm embrace Spencer said “Please don't let me go.”
“I won't, don't you worry I'm never letting you go.” Toby said as he took in her wonderful Vanilla scent, he missed her smell so much.
Finally he passionately kissed her which she happily kissed him back.
“Spence I was so worried.”
“I know, but I'm okay I promise.” Spencer smiled at him and he smiled back.
“Don't you ever do that again!” Toby said and she slightly giggled and said “I won't I promise.” Toby was sitting on the edge of Spencers bed, their arms still wrapped around each other of course, then Toby's eyes shifted from Spencer to her stomach and said “Spence…” a hint of worry in his voice and she knew exactly what had him so worried, she quickly reassured him “The baby's just fine, okay don't worry.” She smiled at him and he looked back up at her smiling. “Thank God.” Then he kissed her.
After they broke apart for air, Spencer said “I know I was scared at first too but I promise Everything's just fine with our little one.” She smiled at put her hand on her still flat stomach and Toby quickly put his on top of hers and they smiled at each other. Spencer is one month Pregnant, and they haven't told anybody yet.
“I love you both so much.” Toby said.
“And we love you Tobias Cavanaugh.” Spencer smiled. Then she carefully scooted over, as best as she could with a broken leg, Toby happily helping her of course and then she patted the open space on the bed and he smiled but still said “Are you sure?” And she said “Yes Tobes I'm sure, you aren't gonna hurt me, you're all I need right now, now come here you goofball.” Toby then happily climbed into her hospital bed and she happily cuddled up to him and rested her head on his chest and he ran his fingers through her hair and with his other hand he rubbed her back. “So when can I take you home?” He asked. “Well the nurse said since everything seems to be fine I should be able to go home tomorrow, I just need to stay here tonight for observation.” Spencer answered.” “Well then I'm staying with you.” Toby said and she smiled at him and said “I was hoping you would say that.” He smiled back and kissed her.
